Reno Events Center

Reno (Amtrak station)

The Reno Amtrak station is a train station in Reno, Nevada, United States, served by Amtrak's California Zephyr train and multiple-frequency daily Thruway Motorcoach service. The depot was built in 1926 by the Southern Pacific Railroad. It is the 3rd train depot built at this same location. The first two were built by the Central Pacific Railroad; both of these were destroyed by fires. This depot was also used by the Virginia & Truckee Railroad, until 1950, when the railroad ceased operations.

Marcy's Geyser

Marcy's Geyser is located in Reno, Nevada at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:39|31|47|N|119|48|46|W| |primary |name= }}. The Geyser was first discovered on February 19, 1891. The geyser is currently used to heat the water of a neighboring apartment complex, so about thirty years ago, it was covered by a parking lot.
