The University of Nevada, Reno (also referred to as University of Nevada, UNR, or simply Nevada), is a teaching and research university established in 1874 and located in Reno, Nevada, USA. It is the land grant institution for the state of Nevada. The campus is home to the large-scale structures laboratory in the College of Engineering, which has put Nevada researchers at the forefront nationally in a wide range of civil engineering, earthquake and large-scale structures testing and modeling.

Mackay Stadium
Mackay Stadium is an outdoor athletic stadium in Reno, Nevada, on the campus of the University of Nevada. The UNLV Arboretum is an 80-acre arboretum on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Paradise, Nevada. The arboretum's missions are to display mature plants suited for high desert conditions, and to investigate new plants and cultivars.

The University of Nevada, Reno Arboretum is a state arboretum located across the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno in Reno, Nevada. The arboretum was established in 1985, and contains a collection of trees, shrubs, flowers, ornamentals and native flora, including over 60 genera and about 200 species of trees, many with several cultivars present. Thirty-six mature elm trees line the Quad. Cherry Blossom Garden - Mt. Fuji cherry trees, azaleas, bamboo, and ornamental grasses.
Reno Events Center
The Reno Events Center is a 7,500-seat multi-purpose arena, located in downtown Reno, Nevada, that was constructed in 2005. It is currently home to the Reno Bighorns of the NBA Development League and was the home to the Reno Barons of the Western Indoor Football Association during their short lived 2011 season. Along with being a basketball and indoor football venue, it has hosted concerts by a wide range of artists.
William Peccole Park
William Peccole Park is a stadium in Reno, Nevada. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the University of Nevada, Reno Wolf Pack baseball team. It originally opened in 1988. It holds 3,000 people. It played host to the Reno Silver Sox professional baseball team of the independent Golden Baseball League from 2006 to 2008.
KAME-TV
KAME-TV is the MyNetworkTV-affiliated television station for the Truckee Meadows area of Northwestern Nevada. Licensed to Reno, it broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 20 from a transmitter on Red Hill in Sun Valley. The station can also be seen on Charter channel 7 and in high definition on digital channel 787. Owned by Ellis Communications, KAME is operated through a local marketing agreement (LMA) by Cox Enterprises as sister to Fox affiliate KRXI-TV.

Reno (Amtrak station)
The Reno Amtrak station is a train station in Reno, Nevada, United States, served by Amtrak's California Zephyr train and multiple-frequency daily Thruway Motorcoach service. The depot was built in 1926 by the Southern Pacific Railroad. It is the 3rd train depot built at this same location. The first two were built by the Central Pacific Railroad; both of these were destroyed by fires. This depot was also used by the Virginia & Truckee Railroad, until 1950, when the railroad ceased operations.
Aces Ballpark

Marcy's Geyser
Marcy's Geyser is located in Reno, Nevada at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:39|31|47|N|119|48|46|W| |primary |name= }}. The Geyser was first discovered on February 19, 1891. The geyser is currently used to heat the water of a neighboring apartment complex, so about thirty years ago, it was covered by a parking lot. Few people knew that the geyser existed there, until a leak sprang up and steam rose from the ground.
Fleischmann Planetarium & Science Center
The Fleischmann Atmospherium Planetarium was built in 1963 on the University of Nevada-Reno campus. It was the first planetarium in the United States to feature a 360-degree projector capable of providing horizon-to-horizon images and through time-lapse photography showing an entire day’s weather in a few minutes. Currently it offers public star shows.
