Gerlach Hot Springs Park
Gerlach Hot Springs Park is a geothermal area located on private property outside of the tiny village of Gerlach, Nevada, in a region known as the Black Rock Desert. It is not currently accessible by the public, and has not been since the 1990s. The park is on top of one of Nevada's most geothermically active regions, and contains dozens of hot springs and thermal pools. During the cooler months, people enjoy warming up in some of the hot springs. Many are too hot to swim in.
