Sam Boyd Stadium

Sam Boyd Stadium is a football stadium located in Whitney, Nevada, an unincorporated community in the Las Vegas Valley; the mailing address of the stadium is "Las Vegas". The stadium is named after Sam Boyd, a major figure in the hotel/casino industry in Las Vegas. The stadium consists of an uncovered horseshoe-shaped single-decked bowl. Sam's Town Hotel and Gambling Hall is a hotel and casino located in Sunrise Manor, Nevada on the Boulder Strip. It is one of the casinos owned and operated by Boyd Gaming Corporation. It is built on 13 acres and it includes an RV park. One of the unique features of this hotel is "Mystic Falls," a large glass-roofed atrium with tall live trees, cobblestone paths, and a rock waterfall in the center where a laser show is performed daily at different times.

KBET (AM)

KBET is an AM radio station located in Winchester, Nevada, broadcasting at 790 kHz. KBET previously aired a classic country format and was using the slogan: "Country Legends 790" playing commercial free classic country. On May 29, 2009 the Las Vegas Sun reported that the station had been sold to Silver State Communications LLC, and that the format would be changed to sports radio later in the week.
