The United States District Court for the District of Nevada (in case citations, D. Nev. ) is the federal district court whose jurisdiction is the state of Nevada. The court has locations in Las Vegas and Reno. Cases from the District of Nevada are appealed to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (except for patent claims and claims against the U.S. government under the Tucker Act, which are appealed to the Federal Circuit).

It is the largest casino in the downtown area, with a total of 2,345 deluxe guest rooms and suites. It has also maintained AAA's Four Diamond rating consecutively for 32 years from 1977 through 2009.

The California Hotel and Casino, also known as The Cal opened in 1975 at a cost of $10 million with a hotel and casino located in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada near the Fremont Street Experience. When it opened it had 325 rooms which has since been expanded to 781. The California has been owned by Boyd Gaming since it was built by Sam Boyd. After facing slow business initially, Boyd soon began focusing on the Hawaiian market, offering Hawaiian food and encouraging a more casual atmosphere.

Cashman Field
Cashman Field is a stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada owned and operated by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. Its primary use is for baseball, and is the home field of the Las Vegas 51s Triple-A minor league baseball team, an affiliate of the New York Mets. Cashman Field opened in 1983 and has a maximum capacity of 9,334. It was named for James "Big Jim" Cashman and his family, who have been Las Vegas entrepreneurs for several generations.

Four Queens

Home to the Queen's Machine, the world's largest slot machine, the 690-room hotel and 40,000 sq ft casino is owned and operated by TLC Enterprises, which acquired the property from the Elsinore Corporation in 2003.
Lady Luck Hotel & Casino
The Lady Luck is a hotel and casino in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. It has been closed since 2006, and is scheduled to reopen in 2013 with a new name, the Downtown Grand. It is owned by Fifth Street Gaming, who also own The Silver Nugget. Interior spaces have been largely demolished in preparation for renovations.
Binion's Gambling Hall and Hotel
Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel, formerly Binion's Horseshoe, is a casino in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada on the Fremont Street Experience, owned by TLC Casino Enterprises. The casino is named for its founder, Benny Binion, whose family ran it from its founding in 1951 until 2004. The hotel, which has 366 rooms, closed in 2009.
Vegas Vic
Vegas Vic is the unofficial, yet most widely used name for the Las Vegas, Nevada neon sign that resembles a cowboy that was erected on the exterior of The Pioneer Club in Las Vegas in 1951. The sign was a departure in graphic design from typeface based neon signs, to a friendly and welcoming human form of a cowboy.
Neonopolis
Neonopolis, a 250,000 sq ft shopping mall, is a $100 million entertainment complex in Las Vegas, Nevada located on top of a $15 million city parking garage. It is located on the Fremont Street Experience, at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard. In keeping with the complex's name, it contains three miles of neon lights. Developer Rohit Joshi purchased the property in 2006 for $25 million and announced that he intended to rename it Fremont Square, but the name change was never completed.

The Las Vegas Club is a casino-hotel located in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada owned by the Tamares Group and operated by the Navegante Group, along with the Plaza Hotel & Casino across the street.
Gold Spike Hotel and Casino
Gold Spike Hotel and Casino is a boutique 112-room, seven floor hotel-casino, connected with the Oasis at the Gold Spike, a 50-room three floor hotel located in downtown Las Vegas. It is owned by The Siegel Group, and the casino is operated by Golden Gaming.
The D Las Vegas
The D Las Vegas Casino Hotel (formerly known as Fitzgeralds Casino & Hotel) is a 34-story, 638-room hotel and casino in Downtown Las Vegas Nevada, owned and operated by Derek and Greg Stevens. The D is located at the eastern end of the Fremont Street Experience. It has a 42,000-square-foot casino, several restaurants, a business center, a pool and spa, and a race and sports book, operated by Lucky's Race & Sports Book.
Symphony Park
Symphony Park, originally called Union Park, and formerly known as Parkway Center, is an under construction mixed-use urban community located in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. The city of Las Vegas is undertaking the development of a 61 acres parcel located on brownfield land purchased from Union Pacific. The city acquired the land in 1995 as part of a redevelopment effort to draw tourists and locals to downtown Las Vegas.
Smith Center for the Performing Arts
The Smith Center for the Performing Arts is located in Downtown Las Vegas's 61-acre Symphony Park and is a five-acre, world-class performing arts center consisting of three theaters in two buildings; groundbreaking for the $470 million project was May 26, 2009. The Art Deco design style was chosen to echo the design elements of another architectural tour de force in Nevada, the Hoover Dam, just 30 miles to the southeast.
Cashman Center
The Cashman Center or the Cashman Field Center is a 483,000 sq ft complex on a 55 acres site in Las Vegas, Nevada. Operated by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority it includes Cashman Field and a 98,100 sq ft convention center. The center is mostly used for locals events, but does host national events like the second 2008 Democratic presidential debate and the 2008-09 United States Bowling Congress Open Championships.
Graceland Wedding Chapel
Graceland Wedding Chapel is a wedding chapel located in Las Vegas, Nevada that has been the site of many celebrity weddings. Opened in the 1950s, it is one of the oldest wedding chapels in Las Vegas, and is known for weddings performed by Elvis impersonators. Presley himself gave the owners of the chapel permission to use the Graceland name.
California Club (casino)
The California Club operated from 1958 to 1973. Phil Long took over operation of the casino located at the corner of First and Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, 1958. The locals casino catered to local gamblers. It was owned and operated by Phil Long and partner George Milford and was a casino only without any hotel rooms. The California Club was sold to Steve Wynn in 1973. The California Club was combined into the Golden Nugget shortly after the purchase by Wynn.
Clark County Government Center
The Clark County Government Center serves as the government center building for Clark County, Nevada. The 350,000-square-foot complex designed by Fentress Bradburn and opened in 1995 consists of a six-story county administration building, three one-story buildings for the county commissioners’ chambers, a multipurpose community facility and a central plant.
Mob Museum
The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, is located in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada and opened February 14th, 2012. The Museum is housed in the former Las Vegas Post Office and Courthouse, built in 1933 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum is on Stewart Avenue, two blocks north of Fremont Street, the main artery of the downtown casino district.
