Offutt Air Force Base

Offutt Air Force Base is a U.S. Air Force installation near Omaha, and lies adjacent to Bellevue in Sarpy County, Nebraska. It is the headquarters of the U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), the Air Force Weather Agency, and the 55th Wing (55 WG) of the Air Combat Command (ACC), the latter serving as the host unit. Aviation use at Offutt began in September 1918 during World War I as an Army Air Service balloon field. It was renamed in honor of World War I pilot and Omaha native 1st Lt.

Bellevue University

Bellevue University is a private, non-profit university located in Bellevue, Nebraska. It opened in 1966 and from the outset has focused on providing adult education and educational outreach. As of 2011, 80% of their undergraduates were aged 25 and over. The university has over 10,000 students enrolled in a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs.

Bellevue Bridge

The Bellevue Bridge (known as the Bellevue Toll Bridge and officially called the Grand Army of the Republic Bridge) is a truss bridge over the Missouri River connecting Mills County, Iowa and Sarpy County, Nebraska at Bellevue, Nebraska. The bridge connects Nebraska Highway 370 and Iowa Highway 370. The bridge was built in 1950 by the Bellevue Bridge Commission at a cost of $2.8 million. The bridge charges $1 tolls for cars and is 20 feet wide.
