Omaha Civic Auditorium
The Omaha Civic Auditorium is a multi-purpose convention center in Omaha, Nebraska. Opened in 1954, it surpassed the Ak-Sar-Ben Coliseum as the largest convention/entertainment complex in the city, until the completion of CenturyLink Center Omaha in 2003. With the opening of the Ralston Arena in 2012, all teams that played at the Civic Auditorium moved, which could reduce the venue's viability in its current form. The auditorium is set to close its doors in 2014.
Omaha Central High School
Omaha Central High School, originally known as Omaha High School, is a fully accredited public high school located in downtown Omaha, Nebraska. Omaha Central is one of many public high schools located within Omaha. The school colors are purple and white. Athletic teams are known as the "Eagles". The current building, located in Downtown Omaha, Nebraska, was designed by John Latenser, Sr. and built between 1900 and 1912. It is the oldest active high school building in the city.

Magic Theatre (Omaha)
The Magic Theatre is located at 325 South 16th Street in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. Founded in 1968 by Jo Ann Schmidman, the theatre is designed to be an experimental theatre by and for people in the Midwest. The Magic Theatre has toured around the world, including the Suwon Castle International Theater Festival in South Korea. The theatre itself was closed and sold by the city of Omaha in 2007.
Douglas County Courthouse (Nebraska)
The present Douglas County Courthouse is located at 1701 Farnam Street in Omaha, Nebraska. Built in 1912, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. Notable events at the courthouse include two lynchings and the city's first Civil Rights Era sit-in protest. Five years after it was opened, the building was almost destroyed by mob violence in the Omaha Race Riot of 1919.
Hotel Fontenelle
Hotel Fontenelle was an upscale commercial hotel once located at 1806 Douglas Street in downtown Omaha, Nebraska. Designed by noted architect Thomas Rogers Kimball in the Late Gothic Revival style, it was built in 1914 and demolished in 1983. It was named for Logan Fontenelle, a well-known chief of the Omaha Tribe. For many years it was the flagship of hotel magnate Gene Eppley's Eppley Hotel Company, which in the 1950s was the largest privately held hotel company in the US.
Bee Building
The Bee Building, later called the Peters Trust Building and finally the Insurance Building, was located at 17th and Farnam Streets in Downtown Omaha, Nebraska. It was an architectural landmark in early Omaha that was built in 1888 by newspaper editor Edward Rosewater to house his Omaha Bee newspaper as well as several other companies. A period review remarked that the building was "probably only second in the United States to that of the New York Herald."
Paxton Hotel
The Paxton Hotel, formerly known as Paxton Manor and currently known as The Paxton, is located at 1403 Farnam Street in Downtown Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Designed by local architect Joseph G. McArthur, the current building was constructed in 1928, with its predecessor dating from 1882. Named for local businessman and community leader William A. Paxton, today the building houses luxury condominiums. It is one of the few significant Art Deco structures in Omaha today.
Roman L. Hruska Federal Courthouse
The Roman L. Hruska Federal Courthouse is a 350,000 sq ft Federal Courthouse located at 111 S. 18th Plz. in Downtown Omaha, Nebraska. Completed in 2000, the six story courthouse serves the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska, and features nine courtrooms and a central atrium; built at a cost of $70 million. It was dedicated October 24, 2000, in front of an audience of over 400 people.
Westbrook Tower
Westbrook Tower is a 213-foot residential tower located at 2121 Douglas Street in Downtown Omaha, Nebraska. The building's erection was completed in 1966 and it is 17 stories tall. It is 18th tallest building in Omaha, as well as the 13th tallest in downtown.
