Hillcrest JROTC cadets took a trip to Monett to go rappelling at the tower of the SWACC. Unfortunately, it was too wet. So, we had a good time playing team building games indoors.

Pierce City is a city in Lawrence County and Barry, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,292 at the 2010 census. In 2010, the town annexed down Missouri Route 97 into Barry County to a point just north of US Route 60.

Yonkerville is an unincorporated in northwestern Barry County, Missouri. It is located about three miles west of Monett at the intersection of U.S. Route 60 and Route 97. A convenience store and a couple of houses are still located there. Monett's airport is also located near the community.

It is five nautical miles (9 km) west of the central business district of the City of Monett, which owns the airport.
