Winona State University
Winona State University (also known as WSU) is a comprehensive public university in Winona, Minnesota, United States, a college and river town located in picturesque bluff country on the Mississippi River, with around 8,900 enrolled undergraduate and graduate students. The oldest member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System, the fifth-largest system of two- and four-year colleges and universities in the country, based on student enrollment.

The Great River Shakespeare Festival (GRSF) is an annual festival held in June and July in Winona, Minnesota, a Mississippi River town in the southeastern part of the state. North Channel Bridge

Maxwell Field at Verizon Wireless Stadium is a stadium at Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota. It has been the home to Winona State Warriors football team since at least the 1937 season. It was named Maxwell Field in honor of then-current Winona State president Guy Maxwell. Maxwell Hall, formerly the Maxwell Library, was also named in his honor.
Main Channel Bridge (Winona)
Main Channel Bridge (Winona) is a cantilever bridge that spans the Mississippi River between Winona, Minnesota and Fountain City, Wisconsin. Construction on the bridge was started just before the United States entered World War II, and the construction was hastened to finish in November 1942, despite labor shortages, difficulty obtaining materials, and high water. It was built in 1941-1942 by the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT).

The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Winona. The cathedral is located in Winona, Minnesota on Minnesota State Highway 43 near downtown. The current rector of the cathedral is Msgr. Richard Colletti.
Winona (Amtrak station)
Winona is a train station in Winona, Minnesota served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. It was originally built in 1888 by the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad. A former Milwaukee Road freight house also exists here. Winona has also had at least four former stations used by the Chicago and North Western Railroad. Winona is served by Amtrak's daily Empire Builder, a train originally owned by the Great Northern Railway, which also had a station in Winona.
WSU's Performing Arts Center
Winona State University's Performing Arts Center. Built in 1968, this building includes a large band room, choir room, a 412-seat proscenium theatre, a versatile black-box theatre (The Dorothy B. Magnus Theatre), a recital hall, dance studio, scene shop, costume shop, make-up and dressing rooms, offices, and classrooms. The Performing Arts Center houses the Departments of Music, Theatre & Dance, and Communications Studies.
