Sartell Dam
The Sartell Dam is a dam across the Mississippi River in Sartell, Minnesota in the United States. The dam generates hydroelectric power for the adjoining Sartell Paper Mill. The dam is referred to as the Champion Dam in official documentation. Construction of the structure was begun by the Watab Pulp and Paper Company in 1907 and finished in 1911. Seven workers died during construction, most from drowning as a result of washouts on the site's cofferdam.
Sauk River (Minnesota)
The Sauk River is a 122-mile-long tributary of the Mississippi River in central Minnesota in the United States. It drains small lakes in Stearns County. In the Ojibwe language it is called Ozaagi-ziibi, meaning "River of the Sauks".
Sauk Rapids Bridge
The Sauk Rapids Bridge was a steel spandrel braced arch bridge that spanned the Mississippi River between the cities of St. Cloud and Sauk Rapids in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It was built in 1942 and was designed by the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The bridge consisted of three spans supported by two piers. It crossed the Mississippi River half a mile downstream from the rapids of the Sauk River. The river is still rough and fast-flowing at this location.
Bridge of Hope
The Bridge of Hope is a concrete girder bridge that spans the Mississippi River between Sartell, Minnesota and Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. The bridge was completed eight months early, aided by favorable weather and trouble-free construction. It was built in 1995 and was designed by Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Jim Hill Group. The bridge is named in honor of Jacob Wetterling, a boy who was abducted from St. Joseph, Minnesota in 1989.
Old Sartell Bridge
The Old Sartell Bridge is a bridge that spans the Mississippi River in the city of Sartell in the U.S. state of Minnesota. Though still standing, it is closed to traffic and was replaced by the Sartell Bridge constructed about 850 feet downstream. The bridge is around 1000 feet downstream of the Sartell Dam. The bridge was built during a six-month period in 1914, but over the years the bridge became congested and less able to carry heavy traffic.

The Sauk Rapids Regional Bridge is a newly completed bridge spanning the Mississippi River in the United States city of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. Construction began on September 26, 2005 and was completed in September 2007. The bridge was opened to traffic for the first time on October 23, 2007. The official dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on November 16, 2007.
Verso Paper Sartell Mill
The Sartell Paper Mill, officially the Verso Paper Sartell Mill, is a paper mill located in the city of Sartell in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The mill is owned by Verso Paper. On may 29, 2012, there was an explosion at the paper mill that resulted in a large fire. It killed one man and injured 4 others. It took fourteen fire departments to put out the fire. The mill has been around longer than the city of Sartell.
