Dearborn, Michigan
Dearborn is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is located in the Detroit metropolitan area and in Wayne County. Dearborn is the eighth largest city in the U.S. state of Michigan. Dearborn Mosque
Dearborn Mosque is a mosque belonging to the American Muslim Society (الجمعية الإسلامية الامريكية) in Dearborn, Michigan. It was built in 1937 by the nascent Islamic community (then mostly Sunni Muslims from the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon), and was only the second mosque constructed in the United States. The building is three stories high and almost an entire city block on the intersection of Vernor and Dix Streets. The number of people attending grew rapidly through the 1960s to 1980s.

Springwells Village is a neighborhood in southwest Detroit, Michigan, near the Ford Motor Company River Rouge Plant. Springwells Village is largely residential, and in 2002, part of Springwells Village was recognized as a national historic district. The Springwells Village neighborhood is typically defined as the area starting at Dix Hwy. to the north, Waterman St. to east, Fort St. to the south, and Woodmere St. to the west.
