Saginaw Valley State University

Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) is a state university in the U.S. state of Michigan. Originally founded in 1963 as Saginaw Valley College, it is located in the middle of Michigan's lower peninsula in Kochville Township, Saginaw County. However, its official address places it in University Center, Michigan, which it shares with Delta College (which is 3.3 miles to the north-northwest, in Bay County's Frankenlust Township).

Dow Event Center

The Dow Event Center (formerly known as The Saginaw County Event Center, formerly known as The Saginaw Civic Center) is in downtown Saginaw, Michigan. The center consists of several parts: The Atrium, The Garden Room, Heritage Theater, The Unity Hall, and Wendler Arena. It also houses the OHL junior ice hockey team Saginaw Spirit. In 2008 served its first year as host to the Ultimate Indoor Football League's Saginaw Sting.

Wickes Stadium

Harvey Randall Wickes Memorial Stadium, known simply as Wickes Stadium, is a 6,300-seat football stadium located in University Center, Michigan, as part of the Ryder Center sports complex on the Saginaw Valley State University campus. It is home to the university's Cardinals football team. Wickes Stadium can also be used for other events, including high school football, graduation ceremonies, and soccer. It is named for Harvey R. Wickes, one of the founders of SVSU.
