Studio 28

Studio 28 was a movie theatre located in Wyoming, Michigan, on 28th Street where the theatre got its name. It was the first megaplex and once largest theatre in the world, opening on Christmas Day, 1965, and closing November 23, 2008. The theatre started with a single, 1,000 seat theatre in 1965, expanding to two theatres in 1967, six theatres in 1976, twelve in 1984 and twenty in 1988. The theatre broke a single day attendance record on November 29.

Kent Trails

Kent Trails is a fifteen mile rail trail in Kent County, Michigan that runs through the cities of Grand Rapids, Grandville, Walker, Wyoming and Byron Township and is part of a network of trails in and around Grand Rapids. It runs north and south from John Ball Park in Grand Rapids to 84th Street in Byron Township, with an extension that runs east/west along 76th Street and north/south from 76th Street to Douglas Walker Park on 84th Street.

Plaster Creek

Plaster Creek is a 25.9-mile-long urban stream in Kent County, Michigan in the United States. It is a tributary of the Grand River. The stream is named for the large deposit of gypsum found at its mouth. Its mean monthly flow averages 22 million gallons per day. Two bridges listed on the National Register of Historic Places cross the creek.

West Michigan Lutheran High School

West Michigan Lutheran High School is the only Lutheran high school in the Greater Grand Rapids, Michigan area. It was started in the fall of 2004 with 10 students who were Freshman and Sophomores. Its first location was in the Ministry Center Building of St. Mark Lutheran Church of Kentwood, Michigan. In the spring of 2007, WMLHS held its first graduation. In 2009, 7 of the 9 graduates enlisted in the military.
