Lansing Craft Centre
The Lansing Craft Centre was a specialized General Motors automobile assembly factory in Lansing Township, Michigan. The plant started production (as the Reatta Craft Centre) in 1987 and closed in 2006. At the time of its closure, the plant was 985,000 square feet in size, and employed 400 workers. The facility was originally built by GM as a foundry in 1919, and sat across Saginaw Street from the Lansing Metal Center.

Opened in 2001 by General Motors, the 2,500,000 square feet plant produces vehicles on the company's Sigma platform. It is the main plant for Cadillac. J. W. Sexton High School
J. W. Sexton High School is a public school located on the western edge of Lansing, Michigan, United States, in the Lansing School District. The principal is currently Sandra Noecker. The Sexton Big Reds are members of the Capital Area Activities Conference. The school has a fierce rivalry with the Everett Vikings of Everett High School on the south side of the city. In March 2012 the Lansing School District announced that Sexton would house 7-12 grades beginning in the 2012-2013 school year.

It manufactures Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC vehicles. Completed in 2006, the factory measures 3,400,000 square feet in size, and employed 3,634 hourly workers, and 262 salaried workers as of 2010.
Lansing Metal Center
The Lansing Metal Center was a General Motors foundry located in Lansing Township, Michigan directly across Saginaw Street from the Lansing Craft Centre. It was originally built as a jet engine manufacturing plant in 1952 and shuttered in 2006. Upon its closing, the plant was 1,590,000 square feet in size, and employed 1,200. General Motors began the demolition of the plant in February 2008.
