Mount Morris, Michigan
Mount Morris is a city in Genesee County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 3,086 at the 2010 census. The city is adjacent to Mount Morris Township, but is politically independent.
Buick City
Buick City was a massive automobile manufacturing complex in the northwest of Flint, Michigan. Elements of the 235-acre complex dated from 1904, but it became known as Buick City in 1985. The Buick Site is still producing components for GM facilities and outside buyers. Operations ceased in 2010. The site will be vacated by GM employees and site responsibilities will be transferred to Motors Liquidation Corp as of December 6, 2010.
Huckleberry Railroad
The Huckleberry Railroad is a narrow gauge heritage railroad located in Genesee Township, Michigan, just north of Flint. It is part of Crossroads Village and operated by the Genesee County Parks and Recreation Commission. The railroad received its name due to the story that said a person could jump off the train, pick wild huckleberries, and re-board the train as it traveled without difficulty.
Russ Reynolds Field
Russ Reynolds Field, located in Flint, Michigan, has been home to the Beecher High School Buccaneers for many years. In 2002, it also became the home of the Michigan Admirals of the North American Football League. In 2005, the Admirals became the NAFL 2 Northern Conference Champions. The Admirals moved to Flint's Atwood Stadium prior to folding. The stadium is named after Russ Reynolds, a legendary football player from the 1920s, who played at nearby Flint Northern.
Flint North
GM Powertrain Flint North (GMPT Flint North) was a General Motors automobile engine and components plant located at the Stewart Avenue exit of I-475 in Flint, Michigan . The plant consisted of several factories that combine to make the Flint North Powertrain plant. The 4,000,000-square-foot plant opened in 1905 as part of the Buick Motor Company, and was the last part of Buick City standing. The engine plant (Factory 36) portion of Powertrain Flint North closed in 2008.
Shooting of Kayla Rolland
The shooting of Kayla Rolland occurred at Buell Elementary School in Mount Morris Township, Michigan, United States on February 29, 2000. Six-year-old Dedric Darnell Owens fatally shot classmate Kayla Renee Rolland (May 12, 1993 – February 29, 2000) in a stairwell before he was taken into police custody. Buell Elementary School closed in 2002. It was part of the Beecher Community School District.

Flint Northwestern High School
Flint Northwestern High School is a high school in Flint, Michigan, USA. It is part of Flint Community Schools. It first opened in September 1964. After initial construction, the high school was dedicated to the Flint Community Schools Board of Education by Claude E. Stout. Further additions to the building were a swimming pool in November 1964 and the Guy V. Houston football stadium in the fall of 1967. The high school's official mascot is the wildcat.
