Perkins School for the Blind
Perkins School for the Blind, in Watertown, Massachusetts, is the oldest school for the blind in the United States. It has also been known as the Perkins Institution for the Blind. On Oct. 15, 2012, the global NGO shortened its name to simply Perkins, to reflect a mission that extends beyond the school in Watertown, into 67 countries. Arsenal Mall is a small enclosed shopping mall located at 500 Arsenal Street in Watertown, Massachusetts. Its anchor stores include The Home Depot, Marshalls, Forever 21, Old Navy, Golf Town, and Sports Authority. The mall, managed by Simon Property Group, features 56 stores and a food court. Filene's Basement, one of the mall's anchors, filed for bankruptcy protection on May 4, 2009. The store closed in 2011 and was converted to Sports Authority.
North Beacon Street Bridge
The North Beacon Street Bridge is a bridge carrying North Beacon Street over the Charles River between Watertown, MA and Brighton, Boston, MA. It was built in 1917. The southern end of the bridge is also at the western terminus of Soldiers Field Road, an extension of Storrow Drive, while its northern end is at the western terminus of Greenough Boulevard, an extension of Memorial Drive.

Sawins Pond is a man-made pond created in the 19th century in Watertown, Massachusetts, USA. Its banks were the site of an upscale hotel, and it was a popular fishing and swimming spot. It was then used by Hood Rubber company, and then BF Goodrich. They deposited scores of barrels onto the site, filled with rubber scraps.
