Bishopville, Maryland

Bishopville is a small unincorporated community 10 miles (16 km) north of Berlin in Worcester County, Maryland, located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:38|26|35|N|75|11|38|W| | |name= }}. The community is just south of the Delaware state line. Bishopville arose at the site of a mill on and crossing of the Bishopville Prong of the St. Martin's River. The crossing, the main road through the community, is now Maryland Route 367.

The St. Martin River is a tributary of Isle of Wight Bay in Worcester County, Maryland. Approximately 4.4 miles long, it drains the northernmost part of Worcester County.
