Wicomico County, Maryland
Wicomico County is a county located in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Maryland. The county's name is pronounced wy-KAHM-ih-koh. It was named for the Wicomico River, which in turn derives from Algonquian language words wicko mekee, meaning "a place where houses are built," apparently referring to an Indian town on the banks. The county seat is Salisbury. As of 2010, the population was 98,733. It is included in the Salisbury, Maryland, Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Wicomico Youth and Civic Center
The Wicomico Youth and Civic Center (also known as Normandy Arena) is a multipurpose arena located in Salisbury, Maryland, USA. It contains 28,000 square feet of space and can seat 2,500 for banquets, 1,600 for theater concerts and stage shows, 6,100 for end-stage concerts, 6,747 for center-stage concerts, boxing and wrestling, 4,157 for ice events, and 5,130 for basketball. It features a 42-foot -high ceiling. Attached to the arena are three meeting rooms totaling 18,960 square feet of space.

James M. Bennett High School
James M. Bennett High School is a high school located in Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland. It is part of the Wicomico County Public School system. It is one of four public high schools in Wicomico County along with Mardela Middle and High School, Parkside High School, and Wicomico High School. It was established in 1962. It has an enrollment of 1346 (in 2008) in grades nine through twelve, and 110 teachers and assistants.
WXSU-LP
WXSU-LP is the student-run radio station at Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland. The station, formerly known as WSUR, was forced to change call letters when registering with the FCC because of an existing television station with those call letters in Puerto Rico. WXSU-LP first went live to the Salisbury community in 2005 with a low power, 100 watt signal. The station currently operates during the Fall, Winter, and Spring semesters from Late August to Mid-May.
Salisbury Mall (Maryland)
The Salisbury Mall was a one-level 600,000-square-foot regional mall located on Civic and Glen Avenues in Salisbury, Maryland. The Salisbury Mall was the first enclosed climate-controlled shopping mall on the Delmarva Peninsula. In the October 16, 1968, edition of the Daily Times in Salisbury, it was reported that the overall cost of the mall had exceeded $7 million, and the parking lot could accommodate 3,300 vehicles. The mall was anchored by Sears, Hecht's, Peebles, and Food Depot.

Wicomico High School (commonly abbreviated "Wi Hi") is a high school located in Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland. It is one of four public high schools in Wicomico County along with James M. Bennett High School, Mardela Middle and High School and Parkside High School. Wicomico High School currently enrolls grades 9 through 12. Its mascot is the Indian and its colors are blue and gold.

Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art
The Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art is located at 909 South Schumaker Drive, Salisbury, Maryland, United States. This museum has the most comprehensive collection of wildfowl carvings in the world, ranging from art sculptures to working decoys used by hunters. The museum was named after Lem and Steve Ward from Crisfield, Maryland, two pioneers that moved decoy carvings into the realm of fine art.

The Centre at Salisbury
The Centre at Salisbury is an 861,000-square-foot super-regional mall owned by the Macerich corporation in Salisbury, Maryland. The mall is the only regional shopping mall in a 60-mile radius. The main anchor stores include Macy's, Boscov's, Sears, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods, and it also features a 16 screen cinema stadium-style Regal Cinemas movie theater that opened in 2005 in the space formerly occupied by Montgomery Ward.
Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore
The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore was established in 1984, and is located in Salisbury, Maryland. Its mission is to "strengthen the community by building charitable funds, maximizing benefits to donors, making effective grants, and provide leadership to address community needs. " It serves the three lower counties of the Eastern Shore of Maryland: Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester. Annually CFES awards more than $4.4 million in grants and scholarships.
Peninsula Regional Medical Center
Peninsula Regional Medical Center is a non-profit hospital located in Salisbury, Maryland. Established in 1897 by Dr. George W. Todd with six beds in an old home, the institution once known as Peninsula General Hospital has grown to contain more than 300 beds. It serves nearly 500,000 patients every year in a multitude of specialties. Close to 2,000 babies are born at PRMC every year. There are approximately 3,000 employees, placing it among Salisbury’s largest employers.
