Greater Upper Marlboro, Maryland
Greater Upper Marlboro is an area of Prince George's County, Maryland, United States, that completely surrounds Upper Marlboro, the county seat. It was formerly a census-designated place (CDP), with a population of 18,720 at the 2000 census. However, the 2010 census divided the area into several smaller CDPs, including portions of Marlboro Meadows, Brock Hall, Marlboro Village, Queenland, and Croom.

The Show Place Arena is a 5,800-seat multi-purpose arena in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, which is used for sporting events, concerts, boxing and professional wrestling events, consumer shows, trade shows, religious services, graduations and other events. The Show Place Arena contains a 35,360-square-foot (136' by 260') floor allowing it to be used for various events such as concerts and trade shows.
Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary
The Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary is located along the tidal Patuxent River in southern Maryland. It was established in 1985 and is operated by the Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks. It includes more than 1,500 acres of tidal freshwater wetlands, forests, meadows and fields. The wetlands, with large stands of aquatic plants including wild rice, are home to many birds, fish, reptiles, and mammals.
Marlboro Motor Raceway
Marlboro Motor Raceway (MMR) is a now-defunct motorsports park located in Prince George's County, just outside Upper Marlboro, Maryland. MMR closed after the 1969 season and local Sports Car Club of America racing moved to the more advanced facility at Summit Point, West Virginia due to safety concerns and issues with MMR's management. The remains of the track are still visible from U.S. Route 301 and the entire track layout can still be seen in modern satellite imagery.
Columbia Air Center
The Columbia Air Center was an airfield in Croom, Maryland from 1941 to 1958. It was started by African American pilots who were not permitted to use other airports, but was also open to whites. It had an all black staff, and a number of the trainers had served in World War II as Tuskegee Airmen. John R. Pinkett founded the airport in Croom, Maryland, in Prince George's County on leased land near the Patuxent River.

The Digges-Sasscer house is an historic building in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. It has been home to Lansdale Ghiselin Sasscer and Lansdale Ghiselin Sasscer, Jr. among other attorneys. The house is included in the Historic American Building Survey and is listed in the Maryland Historic Trust. The earliest sections of the house date to the late 1700s.
