Kennedyville is located in Kent County’s agricultural heartland and is one of 12 villages in the County. Kennedyville today is primarily residential in character and is home to about 230 people. Although a few commercial properties are located in the center of the village along Route 213 and Kennedyville/Turner’s Creek Road, Kennedyville’s building stock consists mostly of single family residences constructed between 1870 and 1930.
