Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens
Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum is a cemetery and mausoleum in Timonium, Maryland, a fashionable Baltimore County suburban community. It is located at 200 E. Padonia Rd, about two miles (3 km) east from the from Padonia Road exit off Interstate 83. The 7th and 6th holes of the Longview Golf Course border much of the cemetery; the other borders are Padonia Road and a residential neighborhood.
Dulaney High School
Dulaney High School is a secondary school in Timonium, Baltimore County, Maryland. The school serves a generally middle- to upper-middle class suburban community, with students from Timonium and surrounding areas in Baltimore County. Dulaney is a Blue Ribbon School and ranked #259 nationwide in Newsweek magazine's 2010 survey of top high schools in the U.S. It is situated on 45 acres adjacent to Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
Maryland State Fair
The Maryland State Fair is the annual state fair for the state of Maryland. It is held at the Maryland State Fairgrounds located near the intersection of York and Timonium roads in Timonium. As of 2006, the fair is an 11-day event customarily beginning in late August and ending around Labor Day.
Timonium (Baltimore Light Rail station)
The Timonium Light Rail Stop is one of 33 stops on the Baltimore Light Rail and is the northern terminus of some trips. The station up until 1997 was the northern terminus, and also was for a few months during the double-tracking project in 2007. Currently, trains originating from Cromwell/Glen Burnie terminate at Timonium during peak commuting hours on weekdays. The stop is located along Deereco Road adjacent to the Maryland State Fairgrounds.
Loch Raven Reservoir
The Loch Raven Reservoir is a reservoir that provides drinking water for the City of Baltimore and most of Baltimore County, Maryland. Originally built in 1881 as a dam and water tunnel to channel water to Lake Montebello and Lake Clifton, a new dam, creating a modern large reservoir lake, was constructed in 1914 in efforts to increase the municipal water supply, submerging the agricultural village of Warren.
