Yeshivas Ner Yisroel

Ner Israel Rabbinical College (ישיבת נר ישראל), or NIRC, is a prominent yeshiva in Baltimore, in the U.S. state of Maryland, founded in 1933 by Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchok Ruderman, a disciple of Rabbi Nosson Tzvi Finkel, dean of the Slabodka yeshiva in Lithuania. It is currently headed by Rabbi Aharon Feldman, a disciple of Rabbi Ruderman. The yeshiva is an all-male Lithuanian (Litvish)-style Talmudic college and is politically affiliated with Agudath Israel of America.

Garrison Forest School

Owings Mills (Baltimore Metro Subway station)

The Owings Mills Metro Subway Station is one of 14 stops along the Baltimore Metro Subway line. It is the most northern and western station on the line, and has more parking spaces than all other stops along the line. The station is within a close walk of the Owings Mills Mall. Two buses currently serve this station: 56 to Glyndon 59 to Reisterstown Plaza Note = Both operate via Reisterstown Road and connection to Owings Mills Town Center

Rosewood Center

The Rosewood Center was an institution for people with developmental disabilities located on Rosewood Lane in Owings Mills, Maryland. It was established in 1888 as the Asylum and Training School for the Feeble Minded. From 1912 to 1961, it was known as the Rosewood State Training School. In 1961, the facility was renamed as the Rosewood State Hospital. After the state departments of health and mental hygiene merged in 1969, the facility was renamed the Rosewood Center.

WBIS was an American radio station broadcasting a News Talk Information format. Licensed to Annapolis, Maryland, USA, the station served the Baltimore, Maryland area. The station was last owned by Nations Radio, LLC (a subsidiary of Potomac Radio, LLC). On October 29, 2008, Leesburg, Virginia-based WCRW/1200 (which previously had the WAGE callsign) received a permit to move to 1190 kHz as well as to raise its power to 50 kW.
