Towson is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place in Baltimore County, Maryland. The population was 55,197 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Baltimore County and the second-most populated unincorporated county seat in the United States.

It has a capacity of 500 spectators and opened in 2001. The playing surface of the field is natural grass. On April 29, 2001, the baseball facility at Towson University was christened John B. Schuerholz Park. The stadium is named in honor of John Schuerholz, a 1962 Towson alumnus and former member of the baseball program.

The Shops at Kenilworth
The Shops at Kenilworth is a mall in Towson, Maryland. It is currently the home to more than 30 stores. The mall originally opened in 1979. The mall was once home to an express location of the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration. This location closed on September 23, 2005, in favor of a new location elsewhere in Baltimore County. The mall was once home to a location of European clothing retailer Ulla Popken, which opened in 2000. This store has since closed.
Towson Calvary Baptist Church
Towson Calvary Baptist Church, at 120 West Pennsylvania Ave, Towson, Maryland, was completed in 1929. It is a gothic building built from the stone, concrete and aggregate supplied by the nearby Campbell quarry, which had its headquarters on the same block. The Harry Tyler Campbell company ultimately became the successful producers of Camel-Wite, an early whiting ingredient for paint, paper, rubber and plastic and Sakrete, a popular pre-mixed concrete formulation.
Tiger Arena (Towson University)
Tiger Arena is a 5,200-seat multi-purpose arena in Towson, Maryland currently under construction. Once completed in the spring of 2013, the arena will host the Towson Tigers basketball.
