Boys' Latin School of Maryland is an all-boys, college-preparatory school located in Baltimore, Maryland. Founded in 1844, it is the oldest independent, non-sectarian secondary school in the state of Maryland. The school is divided into Lower, Middle and Upper Schools. Mount Saint Agnes College was a Catholic women's college located in the Mount Washington neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. It opened in 1890 and was operated by the Sisters of Mercy. In 1971, Mount Saint Agnes merged with nearby Loyola College in Maryland, which still oversees the Mount Saint Agnes Alumnae Association. The Mt. Washington Light Rail Stop is one of 33 stops on the Baltimore Light Rail and is the northern-most stop inside the city of Baltimore. The stop is located in historic Mt. Washington Village, and is accessible to motor vehicles only along narrow, one way side streets.
Lake Roland (Maryland)
Lake Roland is a 100-acre defunct reservoir in Baltimore County, Maryland named for Roland Run, a nearby stream-bed that feeds the lake. It initially served as the first municipal water supply for the city of Baltimore in 1861, but was abandoned in 1915 because of silting problems. Although located outside of the city limits, it is owned and managed by the city since its purchase of the land from the Baltimore Water Company in 1854. The lake is contained within Robert E.
Falls Road (Baltimore Light Rail station)
The Falls Road Light Rail Stop is one of 33 stops on the Baltimore Light Rail and is the first stop in Baltimore County while traveling north from downtown Baltimore. The stop is located near Mt. Washington, and is often used by commuters as a back-up to Mt. Washington for parking when the lot at Mt. Washington is full. The station is adjacent to Robert E. Lee Memorial Park and can be viewed from certain parts of the park.
North Baltimore Aquatic Club
The North Baltimore Aquatic Club is an amateur swim club based in and around Baltimore, Maryland. Founded in 1968, it continues to offer training for young swimmers. It is best known for developing eight Olympic swimmers, five of whom earned gold medals.

Hooper House (Baltimore County, Maryland)
The Hooper House, also known as Hooper House II, located in Bare Hills in Baltimore County, Maryland, was commissioned by philanthropist Edith Hooper, and designed by architects Marcel Breuer and Herbert Beckhard. Breuer had designed an addition to the Hoopers' prior home in Baltimore in 1948; this is often referred to as "Hooper House I," which is why this newer residence is often called "Hooper House II. " Ground was broken on the project in 1959 and the house was completed in 1960.
L'Hirondelle Club
L’Hirondelle Club is a private social club located in Ruxton, Maryland, and is the oldest such club in the Baltimore region. It opened in 1872 as a boat club for rowing on nearby Lake Roland.
Sabina Mattefeldt, Baltimore
Sabina Mattefeldt is a neighborhood in the North District of Baltimore, located beside the Jones Falls, between the neighborhoods of Mount Washington (west) and Poplar Hill (east). Its name comes from the two streets, Sabina Avenue and Mattefeldt Avenue, where most of the neighborhhood's homes are located. Falls Road and Jones Falls Expressway mark the neighborhood's east and west boundaries.
