Bangor, Maine
Bangor is a city in and the county seat of Penobscot County, Maine, United States, and the major commercial and cultural center for eastern and northern Maine. It is the principal city of the Bangor, Maine Metropolitan Statistical Area, which encompasses all of Penobscot County. As of 2008, Bangor is the third most-populous city in Maine, as it has been for more than a century. The population of the city was 33,039 at the 2010 census; the Bangor Metropolitan Statistical Area, 153,923.
Veazie, Maine
Veazie is a town in Penobscot County, Maine, United States. The population was 1,919 at the 2010 census. The town is named after General Samuel Veazie, an early lumber baron and railroad operator. Veazie was originally part of Bangor, using Penobscot River water power to operate sawmills. It became a separate town in 1853 because Gen. Veazie, its wealthiest citizen, thought Bangor's property taxes were too high.

Bangor City Forest
The Bangor City Forest is a large recreation area in Bangor, Maine. The park consists of approximately 650 acres and features close to 10 miles of hiking, cycling, and cross-country skiing trails. The trail system is well maintained and most trails are packed gravel. Although primarily a recreational area, it is technically a "working forest. " The park has a large parking and picnic area located at the end of Tripp Drive. Additional parking is available at the end of Kittredge Road.
Eastern Maine Community College
Eastern Maine Community College (EMCC) is a community college in Bangor, Maine. It offers over 30 one- and two-year degree programs. Eastern Maine was established in 1966 by act of the Maine Legislature, as Eastern Maine Vocational Technical Institute (EMVTI). In 1989, the name was changed to Eastern Maine Technical College (EMTC), and changed again in 2003 from "Technical" to "Community".
30th Tactical Missile Squadron
The 30th Tactical Missile Squadron is an inactive United States Air Force unit. It was last assigned to the Bangor Air Defense Sector of Aerospace Defense Command, stationed near Dow Air Force Base, Maine. It was inactivated on 15 December 1964.
