Franklin, Maine
Franklin is a town in Hancock County, Maine, United States. The population was 1,483 at the 2010 census. The first settler in 1764, was Moses Butler, for whom Butler's Point is named. Principal products (in chronological order) have been ship masts, railroad ties, granite, blueberries, and Christmas trees.
