Scott is the second largest municipality in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population rose to over 8,000 according to the 2010 census results. Scott is a suburb of Lafayette and is part of the Lafayette Metropolitan Statistical Area.

M. L. Tigue Moore Field is a ballpark located in Lafayette, Louisiana. It was built in 1979 and has a capacity of 3,755 spectators. It is the home stadium of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns baseball team. It was also home to the Lafayette Bullfrogs of the Central Baseball League. The facility is named after University of Louisiana at Lafayette benefactor, M.L. Tigue Moore.

The Lafayette Parish Correctional Center (LPCC) is the parish jail for Lafayette Parish located in downtown Lafayette in the US state of Louisiana. It is run by the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, led by Sheriff Mike Neustrom. The jail serves the cities of Lafayette, Scott, Carencro, and Broussard, the town of Duson, and the unincorporated areas of Lafayette Parish. The LPCC is operated under the Corrections Division of the LPSO.
