Ace W. Mumford Stadium
Ace W. Mumford Stadium is a 29,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It opened in 1928, and is home to the Southern University Jaguars and Southern Laboratory High School Kittens football teams, as well as the Southern University women's soccer team. It is named after coach A.W. "Ace" Mumford, the most successful coach in Southern University football history, who coached from 1937 until 1961. Since 1928, the Jaguars have won 246 games, lost 97, and tied 12 times.
F. G. Clark Center
F.G. Clark Activity Center is a 7,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It is home to the Southern University Jaguars basketball team. The arena opened in 1975 and it is named for Dr. Felton Grandison Clark, who was the second president of Southern University from 1938 to 1969.
Huey P. Long Bridge (Baton Rouge)
The Huey P. Long Bridge is a truss cantilever bridge over the Mississippi River carrying US 190 and one rail line between East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana and West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. Although the bridge is named after former Louisiana governor Huey P. Long, it is known locally in the Baton Rouge Area as "the old bridge". It is similar in design to the Huey P. Long Bridge in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.

The Baton Rouge Zoo has been accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums since 1977—the first zoo in Louisiana to be accredited.
