Hamel's Amusement Park
Hamel's Amusement Park was one of the few amusement parks located in the state of Louisiana for more than 35 years. Located in Shreveport, it was relatively small and yet hugely popular. People from across the state would visit its giant Ferris wheel or its roller coaster. A log flume was also added later to round out the large ride attractions. During the early years it had a train ride that covered the back end of the property, where zebras, elephants, and other zoo animals roamed.

Bossier City is a city in Bossier Parish, Louisiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, Bossier City had a total population of 61,315. The 2011 estimate is 62,745. The city is 26 percent African American. Bossier City is closely tied to its larger sister city Shreveport, located on the western bank of the Red River. The Shreveport – Bossier City metropolitan area is the center of the region known as the Ark-La-Tex. It is not the parish seat.

KSCL

Shreveport Symphony Orchestra
Shreveport Symphony Orchestra (SSO) is based in Shreveport, the seat of Caddo Parish and the largest city in north Louisiana. Founded in 1948, the symphony remains the longest continually performing professional orchestra in Louisiana, despite a musicians' strike in October, 2008, which nearly terminated its operation. All performances of the orchestra musicians under the auspices of the SSO were cancelled for the 2008–'09 season, and for part of the season 2009–'10.

Regions Tower
The Regions Tower, formerly AmSouth Tower and before that the Commercial National Bank tower, is a high-rise in Shreveport, Louisiana in the USA. Standing 365 feet (111 meters) tall and containing 25 floors, it is the tallest building in northern Louisiana. It was built in 1986 as the CNB Tower, adjacent to the bank's older building and connected to it by a common lobby.
