Shively is a city in Jefferson County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 15,157 at the 2000 census. It is located southwest of Louisville, Kentucky and directly adjoins the larger city. Shively is centered around the junction of US 60 and the Dixie Highway.
Churchill Downs
Churchill Downs, located on Central Avenue in south Louisville, Kentucky, United States, is a Thoroughbred racetrack most famous for hosting the Kentucky Derby annually. It officially opened in 1875, and held the first Kentucky Derby and the first Kentucky Oaks in the same year. Churchill Downs has also hosted the renowned Breeders' Cup on eight occasions, most recently in 2011. Churchill Downs Incorporated owns and operates the racetrack.

Hazelwood, Louisville
Hazelwood is a neighborhood on the south side of Louisville, Kentucky, USA. Its boundaries are Manslick Road to the west, I-264 to the north, Taylor Boulevard to the east, and Hazelwood Avenue to the south. Its development, as with other nearby neighborhoods, was spurred by the opening of Iroquois Park in the early 1890s. E.E. Meacham first subdivided the land in 1899. A larger subdivision, called Bergmann's Addition, was financed in 1902.

Cloverleaf is a neighborhood in southwest Louisville, Kentucky. Its boundaries are I-264 to the north, Manslick Road to the east, Gagel Avenue to the south, and the Illinois Central railroad tracks to the east. It takes its name from Cloverleaf Acres, a development in the area. It is residential, and was annexed by Louisville in 1958.
Iroquois Park
Iroquois Park is a 739 acre (3.0 km²) municipal park in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. It was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, who also designed Louisville's Cherokee Park and Shawnee Park, at what were then the edges of the city. Located south of downtown, Iroquois Park was promoted as "Louisville's Yellowstone". It is built on a large knob covered with old growth forest, and its most prominent feature are the scenic viewpoints atop the hill.

Kentucky Derby Museum
The Kentucky Derby Museum is an American Thoroughbred horse racing museum located on the grounds of Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. Dedicated to preserving the history of the Kentucky Derby, it first opened its doors to the public in the spring of 1985. Much of its early funding came from a donation from the estate of James Graham Brown. The Kentucky Derby Museum consists of two floors of exhibit space, including a 360-degree theater that shows the HD video The Greatest Race.
