Fayette County, Kentucky
Fayette County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The population was 295,803 in the 2010 Census. Its territory, population and government are coextensive with the city of Lexington, which also serves as county seat. Fayette County is part of the Lexington–Fayette Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Transylvania University is a private university in Lexington, Kentucky, United States. It was founded in 1780 making it the first university in Kentucky and among the oldest in the United States. Whitaker Bank Ballpark
Whitaker Bank Ballpark is a stadium in Lexington, Kentucky. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the Lexington Legends minor league baseball team. It was built in 2001. It holds 6,994 people. From 2001 until 2010, the stadium was named Applebee's Park. In January 2011, it was announced that the naming rights to the stadium had been bought by Whitaker Bank Corporation, and the stadium was renamed Whitaker Bank Ballpark.

It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 40 from a transmitter located at the station's studios on the outer loop of Man o' War Boulevard (a.k.a. KY 1425) in the Brighton section of Fayette County. By coincidence, competitor WKYT-TV's studios are just across Winchester Road from the Channel 36 facilities.

It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 36 from a transmitter east of the intersection of I-75 and U.S. 60 in Lexington. Owned by Gray Television, WKYT maintains studios on Winchester Road (near U.S. 60), within a mile from the studios of competing ABC affiliate WTVQ-DT.
Bryan Station
Bryan Station (also Bryan's Station, and often misspelled Bryant's Station) was an early fortified settlement in Lexington, Kentucky. It was located on present-day Bryan Station Road, about three miles (5 km) north of New Circle Road, on the southern bank of Elkhorn Creek near Briar Hill Road. The settlement was established circa 1775-76 by brothers Morgan, James, William and Joseph Bryan from North Carolina.
Episcopal Burying Ground and Chapel (Lexington, Kentucky)
The Episcopal Burying Ground and Chapel (also known as the Old Episcopal Burying Ground) is located at 251 East Third Street, in Lexington, Kentucky. The land was purchased in 1832 by Christ Church as a burial ground for its parishioners. The cemetery became extremely important during the 1833 cholera epidemic, during which one third of the congregation died.

The station broadcasts with an ERP of 100,000 watts, with a 100 mile broadcasting radius. The station is heard as far south as London, as far east as Grayson, as far north as Cincinnati and as far west as Louisville. Clear Channel Communications currently owns the station. WBUL-FM is the third station broadcasting HD Radio in Lexington after WUKY, and WKQQ.

Kentucky Association
The Kentucky Association was formed on July 23, 1826 to promote the breeding and racing of Thoroughbred horses in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky. It was founded by a group of prominent locals which included Henry Clay, Jesse Bledsoe, Dr. Elisha Warfield, and Thomas F. Marshall. Between 1828 and 1834, the Association accumulated sixty-five acres of land in an area of the city of Lexington, Kentucky that today is the east end of 5th Street at Race Street.

Bryan Station, Lexington, Kentucky
Bryan Station is a neighborhood in Northeast Lexington, Kentucky, United States. It is named after the nearby pioneer settlement by the same name located just 2 miles (3 km) outside the current edge of the city. The neighborhood's boundaries are New Circle Road to the West, Old Paris Pike to the North, and Preakness Drive and Interstate 75 to the East. An abandoned railroad track between New Circle Road and I-75 separates it from the Eastland neighborhood to the South.

Douglass School (Lexington, Kentucky)
Douglass School in Lexington, Kentucky was both a primary and secondary Fayette County Public Schools from 1929 to 1971. Douglass School operated solely for African American students. The building that once housed Douglass School, located at 465 Price Road, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Fayette County in 1998.
