Johnson County is a county located in the U.S. state of Iowa. The population was 130,882 in the 2010 census, an increase from 111,006 in the 2000 census. The county seat is Iowa City, the home of the University of Iowa. Johnson County is one of the two counties that make up the Iowa City, Iowa Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is named for Richard Mentor Johnson, the ninth vice president of the United States.

Carver–Hawkeye Arena
Carver–Hawkeye Arena is a 15,400-seat multi-purpose indoor arena located in Iowa City, Iowa. Opened in 1983, it is the home court for The University of Iowa Hawkeyes men's and women's basketball teams, as well as the university's wrestling, gymnastics, and volleyball teams. It was named for the late industrialist Roy J. Carver of Muscatine, Iowa, a prominent statewide booster, who donated $9.2 million to The University of Iowa before his death in 1981.

Duane Banks Field
Duane Banks Field is a baseball stadium in Iowa City, Iowa, USA. It is the home field of the University of Iowa Hawkeyes college baseball team. The stadium holds 3,000 people and opened in 1974. It is named after former Iowa Hawkeyes baseball coach Duane Banks. The field was renamed in honor of Banks in 2001. The school has added lights to the field recently, and some high school games are also played there. Following the 2010 season, the facility received a new playing surface.

The University of Iowa Athletics Hall of Fame is a sports history museum located in the Roy G. Karro Building in Iowa City, Iowa, U.S. The museum pays tribute to the most legendary and influential Iowa Hawkeye sports heroes. Opened in October 2002, the building is located at the northwest corner of Melrose Avenue and Mormon Trek Boulevard in Iowa City. As of 2012 it was directed by Dale Arens.
Edgewater Park Site
The Edgewater Park Site is a 3,800-year-old Late Archaic campsite situated along the Iowa River in Coralville, Iowa, United States. Plant remains recovered from the site suggest the inhabitants were in the earliest stages of adapting domesticated plants. Excavations revealed a small encampment of two hearths and areas for faunal and stone tool production. Other features identified include a discard area and a deep feature of unknown function.
