Purdue University
Purdue University, located in West Lafayette, Indiana, U.S. , is the flagship university of the six-campus Purdue University system. Purdue was founded on May 6, 1869, as a land-grant university when the Indiana General Assembly, taking advantage of the Morrill Act, accepted a donation of land and money from Lafayette businessman John Purdue to establish a college of science, technology, and agriculture in his name.

The Old Oaken Bucket is a traveling trophy awarded in American college football as part of the Indiana–Purdue rivalry between the Indiana Hoosiers football team of Indiana University and Purdue Boilermakers football team of Purdue University. The Purdue Mall Water Sculpture, often referred to as the Engineering Fountain, is a water sculpture and fountain located at the main campus of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. The sculpture is positioned in the heart of campus on the Purdue Mall. Designed by Robert Youngman, the fountain was a gift from the class of 1939 and as a result of its benefactors, the fountain is often referred to as the Class of '39 Water Sculpture.

Lambert Field was a baseball stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana. It was the home field of the Purdue Boilermakers baseball from 1965 until 2012 and held 1,100 people. It was named after former Purdue baseball coach Ward Lambert.
