Anderson, Indiana
Anderson is a city in and the county seat of Madison County, Indiana, United States. It is the principal city of the Anderson, Indiana Metropolitan Statistical Area which encompasses Madison County. Anderson is the headquarters of the Church of God (Anderson) and home of Anderson University, which is affiliated with that denomination. Highlights of the city include the historic Paramount Theatre and the Gruenewald Historic House. The population was 56,129 at the 2010 census.

Anderson High School Wigwam
Anderson High School Wigwam is an indoor arena in Anderson, Indiana. The current version hosts home games for the Anderson High School Indians and was home to the Indiana Alley Cats of the Continental Basketball Association, but is now home of the Anderson Champions of the American Basketball Association. The original arena hosted the NBA's Anderson Packers from 1949 to 1950. It burned down in 1958. The new arena opened up in 1961 and has a capacity of 8,996.

Anderson Speedway is a quarter mile high-banked paved short track in Anderson, Indiana. Weekly racing includes several stock car divisions. The corners are banked at 17 degrees. The 2010 track record of 10.28 seconds in a winged sprint car was the world record for quarter-mile paved ovals until a sprint car driver qualified at Slinger Speedway in 9.909 seconds in August 2010.

The school is a military style academy for boys and girls in grades k-11. Every year a grade is added on and in 2012 they will have 12th grade. Anderson Preparatory Academy started on August 4, 2008 with grades 6 to 8. In the first year APA had visits from the mayor of Anderson and congressman Mike Pence.
