Kennedy Interchange
The Kennedy Interchange, unofficially, though universally, referred to as Spaghetti Junction, is the intersection of Interstates 64, 65 and 71 at the northeastern edge of downtown Louisville, Kentucky, USA. It is named for the John F. Kennedy Memorial Bridge located immediately to the north of the interchange (which carries I-65).
Big Four Bridge
The Big Four Bridge is a six-span former railroad truss bridge that crosses the Ohio River, connecting Louisville, Kentucky, and Jeffersonville, Indiana, United States. It was completed in 1895, and updated in 1929. It has its largest span at 547 feet, for 2,525 feet in total. It gets its name from the defunct Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railway, which was nicknamed the "Big Four Railroad". It is now a converted pedestrian walkway from Louisville into Indiana.
John F. Kennedy Memorial Bridge
The John F. Kennedy Memorial Bridge is a seven-lane, single-deck cantilever bridge that carries Interstate 65 across the Ohio River, connecting Louisville, Kentucky and Jeffersonville, Indiana. The main span is 700 feet (two spans) and the bridge has a total length of 2,498 feet . There are four lanes that go northbound and three lanes that carry southbound traffic.
George Rogers Clark Memorial Bridge
The George Rogers Clark Memorial Bridge is a four-lane cantilevered truss bridge crossing the Ohio River between Louisville, Kentucky and Jeffersonville, Indiana, that carries US 31. It is known locally as the Second Street Bridge.
Beargrass Creek
Beargrass Creek is the name given to several forks of a creek in Jefferson County, Kentucky. The Beargrass Creek watershed is the largest in the county, draining over 60 square miles . As the forks wind through the area that has become Louisville's East End, they have contributed to the geography that has shaped the area. The origin of the name "Beargrass" is not clear, though local stories abound and it was written as "Bear Grass Creek" in early maps.
Schimpff's Confectionery
Schimpff's Confectionery is a historic candy maker, confectionery store and museum located in Jeffersonville, Indiana, within the Old Jeffersonville Historic District. It opened in 1891 by Gustav Schimpff Sr. and Jr. at the current site, although the family had been making candy in the Louisville, Kentucky area since the 1850s. The business has remained in operation the entire time.
Jefferson General Hospital
Jefferson General Hospital was the third-largest hospital during the American Civil War, located at Port Fulton, Indiana (now part of Jeffersonville, Indiana) and was active between February 21, 1864 and December 1866. The land was owned by U.S. Senator from Indiana Jesse D. Bright. Bright was sympathetic to the Confederates, and was expelled from his position as Senator in 1862. Union authorities took the property without compensation, similar to what happened at Arlington National Cemetery.
Old Jeffersonville Historic District
The Old Jeffersonville Historic District is located in Jeffersonville, Indiana, United States. It marks the original boundaries of Jeffersonville, and is the heart of modern day downtown Jeffersonville. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The area is roughly bounded by Court Avenue at the North, Graham Street on the east, the Ohio River at the south, and Interstate 65 at the west.
Port Fulton, Indiana
Port Fulton was a town located two miles up the river from Louisville, within present-day Jeffersonville, Indiana. At its height it stretched from the Ohio River to modern-day 10th Street, and from Crestview to Jefferson/Main Streets. Port Fulton was laid out in 1835 by Victor Neff, and named for Robert Fulton, the inventor of steamboats. Its original boundaries were present day Jackson Street (east), Division Street (west), and between Court and Charlestown Streets to the north.

Jeffersonville Township Public Library is a public library system in Jeffersonville, Indiana, USA. The Jeffersonville Township Public Library manages two libraries. One in Jeffersonville and the other in Clarksville, Indiana. The rest of Clark County, Indiana public libraries is provided by Charlestown-Clark County Library.
WQKC
WQKC is a radio station licensed to Jeffersonville, Indiana,serving the Louisville, Kentucky, area. The station is currently owned by Ryan Media. Under ownership of Cumulus Media, WQKC formerly simulcasted sports formatted WQKC 93.9 FM as "The Ticket", until that station changed to a classic hits music format under the call sign WLCL on November 20, 2008. On August 2, 2010 WQKC and WLCL went silent after Cumulus decided to cease operations in the Louisville market.
