Waukegan is a city and the county seat of Lake County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2010 census the city had a population of 89,078. It is the ninth-largest city in Illinois by population. It is the fifth-largest city on the western shore of Lake Michigan, after Chicago, Milwaukee, Green Bay, and Kenosha.
Winnifred Sprague Mason Huck
Winnifred Mason Huck (September 14, 1882 – August 24, 1936) was an American journalist and politician from the state of Illinois who became the third woman to serve in the United States Congress, after Jeannette Rankin and Alice Mary Robertson, the first woman to represent Illinois in Congress, and the first mother. She was elected to fill the at-large seat of her father, Representative William Ernest Mason, after his death.

The William D. Block Memorial Law Library serves the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit, Lake County, Illinois. The Law Library is named after the late William D. Block, who served as a Judge for the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit from February 1, 1975 to June 27, 1996. The Lake County Law Library was renamed in honor of Judge Block on February 10, 1998. A strong leader on and off the bench, the judge was also known for his tireless research in the pursuit of justice.

Waukegan High School, or WHS, is a public, four-year high school located in Waukegan, Illinois, USA, a city to the North of Chicago, Illinois. WHS first opened its doors in 1870. Today, the Brookside Campus extends from Berwick Avenue to McAree Road, and from Brookside Avenue to the center line of Monroe Street. In an effort to accommodate approximately 4,000 students, Waukegan High School expanded to include the Washington Campus (EAST) at 1011 Washington Street.

Genesee Theatre
Genesee Theatre is a concert hall and movie palace in Waukegan, Illinois. The venue has seats for 2,427 people and opened in 1927. It's both used as a vaudeville theatre and cinema and hosts many different musical artists and shows. It originally closed in 1989, however it re-opened in 2004, following a $25 million renovation. Soulja Boy shot part of his music video for "Donk", during a performance in the theatre.
