The Galena Amtrak station is a proposed train station located in Galena, Illinois, and will serve a new Chicago-Rockford-Dubuque Amtrak route that is expected to begin operation in late 2014 or early 2015. The existing depot is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, and the city of Galena proposes using the existing depot (which is currently in use as a tourist information center) as Galena's Amtrak station.
