The United Center is an indoor sports arena located in Chicago, Illinois. The United Center is home to both the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association and the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League. The arena is named after its corporate sponsor, United Airlines. The plan to build the arena was created by Bill Wirtz and Jerry Reinsdorf, the owners of the two sports teams.

Malcolm X College, one of the City Colleges of Chicago, is a two-year college located on the West Side of Chicago, Illinois, USA, at 1900 W. Van Buren St. It was founded as Crane Junior College in 1911 and was the first of the City Colleges. From 1934 to 1969, it was called Theodore Herzl Junior College, and located in the North Lawndale neighborhood on Chicago's West Side, at 3711 W. Douglas Blvd. In 1969, the school was renamed in honor of civil rights advocate and orator Malcolm X.

UIMA was founded in 1971 by Dr. Achilles Chreptowsky in the heart of Chicago's Ukrainian Village, Chicago.
Kedzie (Metra)
Kedzie is a Metra commuter railroad station in the Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. It is served by the Union Pacific/West Line. The station is at North Kedzie Avenue and West Carroll Avenue in an industrial and low-income residential neighborhood. The Chicago Transit Authority's elevated Kedzie station is on West Lake Street, about three blocks to the south. The Garfield Park Conservatory is nearby. No passenger trains stop at Kedzie station on evenings and weekends.
California (CTA Green Line station)
California is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system, serving the Green Line's Lake Branch. It opened on November 6, 1893. California was closed on February 9, 1992, as part of a series of budget cuts, but later reopened with the completion of the Green Line rehabilitation. The station is situated near the intersection of California Avenue and Lake Street in the East Garfield Park neighborhood. It is wheel-chair accessible.
Kedzie (CTA Green Line station)
Kedzie is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system, serving the Green Line. It opened in March 1894, and is three blocks south of Metra's Kedzie station on the Union Pacific/West Line. It is also near the Chicago Center for Green Technology.
Illinois Medical District (CTA station)
Illinois Medical District is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system, serving the Blue Line's Forest Park branch. Prior to June 25, 2006, the station was known as Medical Center. As the name implies, it primarily serves the Illinois Medical District and Tri-Taylor neighborhood, but is also close to the United Center, home of the Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks sports teams.
Western (CTA Blue Line Congress branch station)
Western is a station on the 'L' system, serving the Blue Line's Forest Park branch. It serves the Near West Side neighborhood and Crane Tech High School. The station is also located about 1 mile south of the Western Avenue (Metra BNSF Railway Line) commuter railroad station.
Kedzie–Homan (CTA station)
Kedzie–Homan is a station on the 'L' system, serving the Blue Line's Forest Park branch. The station is located in the median of the Eisenhower Expressway within the East Garfield Park neighborhood and has two entrances on the Kedzie and Homan Avenue overpasses. Kedzie–Homan was named Kedzie until the early 1990s, when the name was changed to Kedzie–Homan. However, signs on the platform still refer to the station as Kedzie.
Western Avenue (Milwaukee District)
Western Avenue is the name of a railroad station owned by Metra, located in East Garfield Park community area of Chicago, Illinois near Western Avenue. The station is 2.9 miles away from Union Station, the inbound terminus of the line. Western Avenue station serves the Milwaukee District/West, North Central Service and Milwaukee District/North lines, and is the last inbound stop for these three lines before the terminus at Union Station.
Douglas Park (Chicago)

Western Avenue (BNSF Railway Line)
Western Avenue (also known as Western Avenue & 18th Place) is a station on Metra's BNSF Railway Line located in Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The station consists of two side platforms for outbound and inbound trains. The station has no station house, though shelters are provided. Amtrak and BNSF Railway trains run on tracks parallel to the station. The station is 3.7 miles away from Union Station along the railroad tracks.
Waller Apartments
