University of Illinois at Chicago
The University of Illinois at Chicago, or UIC, is a state-funded public research university located in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Its campus is in the Near West Side community area, adjacent to the Chicago Loop. The second campus established under the University of Illinois system, UIC is also the largest university in the Chicago area, having approximately 28,000 students enrolled in 15 colleges.
Chicago Union Station
Union Station is a major railroad station which opened in 1925 in Chicago, replacing an earlier 1881 station. It is now the only intercity rail terminal in Chicago, as well as being the city's primary terminal for commuter trains. The station stands on the west side of the Chicago River between Adams Street and Jackson Street, just outside the Chicago Loop. Including approach and storage tracks, it is about nine and a half city blocks in size.
Ogilvie Transportation Center
The Richard B. Ogilvie Transportation Center is a passenger terminal in downtown Chicago, Illinois, USA, serving the three commuter rail lines of Metra's Union Pacific District, which approach the terminal elevated above street level. It occupies the lower floors of the Citigroup Center. The building occupies two square blocks, bounded by Randolph Street and Madison Street to the north and south and by Canal Street and Clinton Street to the east and west.

Greektown is a dining and nightlife district on the Near West Side of the American city of Chicago, Illinois. It is one of many neighborhoods that make up the Near West Side community area, and is popular with tourists and Chicago residents alike. Greektown's bars and restaurants lie roughly between Van Buren and Madison Streets, along Halsted Street, west of the Loop.
Citigroup Center (Chicago)
Citigroup Center is a 42 story, 588-foot (180 m) skyscraper in Chicago, Illinois. Located at 500 W. Madison (between Clinton and Canal Streets), the structure was designed by the architecture firm Murphy/Jahn in a late modernist style. The building, previously named the Northwestern Atrium Center, was constructed between 1984 and 1987 on the air rights obtained by the destruction of the headhouse of the 1911 North Western Station.
Warehouse (nightclub)
The Warehouse (or the "House" for short) was a nightclub that was established in Chicago, Illinois in 1977 under the direction of Robert Williams. It is today most famous for being what many consider to be the birthplace and heart of "house music" under its first musical director, DJ Frankie Knuckles. A broad spectrum of dance music was being played; however, first and foremost were R'n'B and Disco.

Clinton (CTA Blue Line station)
Clinton is a subway station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system, serving the Blue Line in the West Loop neighborhood of the larger Near West Side community area. The Congress Branch of the Blue line opened in June 1958, and connected to the existing Dearborn subway at LaSalle. It is the closest 'L' station to Union Station, the terminal for several Metra and Amtrak and the Chicago Greyhound Bus Terminal. It is also the deepest station on the CTA system.

UIC–Halsted is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system, serving the Blue Line. The station serves the University of Illinois at Chicago, the University Village neighborhood, and the Greektown neighborhood all located in the Near West Side.

The Loop (CTA)
The Loop (historically Union Loop, or commonly Loop) is the two mile circuit of elevated railroad that forms the hub of the 'L' rapid transit system in Chicago, Illinois. As of November 2012, the branch has served 74,865 passengers every weekday. The Loop is so named because the railroad loops around a rectangle formed by Lake Street (north side), Wabash Avenue (east), Van Buren Street (south), and Wells Street (west). The surrounding area is also known as the Loop community area.

WCRX (88.1 FM) is a radio station based in Chicago, Illinois. WCRX 88.1FM is a Non-commercial campus radio station owned and operated by Columbia College Chicago. Located at 33 East Congress in Chicago Columbia College Chicago owns the station's FCC license and facilities. The station is run by Columbia College Chicago students and is operated by the school's radio department. WCRX was bought from the University of Illinois at Chicago in the 1980s.

Circle Interchange
The Circle Interchange is an expressway interchange near downtown Chicago, Illinois. It is the junction between the Dan Ryan, Eisenhower and Kennedy Expressways, and Congress Parkway. The name refers to the curving ramps that appear to form concentric rings when viewed from above, and is commonly used by local traffic reporters. The interchange is notorious for its traffic jams.
Heller International Building
The Heller International Building is a skyscraper in Chicago, Illinois. The building rises 600 feet (183 m) in Chicago's Near West Side neighborhood. It contains 45 floors, and was completed in 1992. The Heller International Building currently stands as the 44th-tallest building in the city. The architectural firm who designed the building was Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the same firm who designed Chicago's Sears Tower and John Hancock Center and the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

International Tailoring Company Building
International Tailoring Company Building is a historic building that was listed on the National Register on April 18, 2008. It has been used by the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for exhibit space, and, as of 2005 was being converted to residential condos. It is located at 847 W. Jackson Boulevard, which is at the corner of Jackson and Peoria Street, on the historic U.S. Route 66. It is also known as White Tower Building.
Morgan (CTA station)
Morgan/Lake is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's Green and Pink Lines. The original station on this site was closed and demolished in early 1949; after years of intense lobbying by local residents and members of the Fulton Market Merchant Association, the Chicago Department of Transportation rebuilt the station from 2010–2012. The new station opened on May 18, 2012.
Haymarket affair
The Haymarket affair (also known as the Haymarket massacre or Haymarket riot) refers to the aftermath of a bombing that took place at a labor demonstration on Tuesday May 4, 1886, at Haymarket Square in Chicago. It began as a peaceful rally in support of workers striking for an eight-hour day. An unknown person threw a dynamite bomb at police as they acted to disperse the public meeting.
Batcolumn
Batcolumn (or Bat Column) is a 101-foot-tall outdoor sculpture in Chicago. Designed by Claes Oldenburg, it takes the shape of a baseball bat standing on its knob. It consists of gray-painted Corten steel arranged into an open latticework structure. Batcolumn stands outside the Harold Washington Social Security Administration Building at 600 West Madison Street near downtown Chicago. The United States General Services Administration commissioned the sculpture, which was dedicated in 1977.

Coyne College (formerly known as Coyne American Institute) is a for-profit college with two campuses located in the United States in Chicago, Illinois. Coyne American Institute has provided technical training in Chicago Since January 1899. Coyne American Institute was established as the Coyne Electrical School of Chicago. In 1960s, the Coyne Electrical School merged with the American Institute of Engineering and Technology to become Coyne American Institute.
