Oak Woods Cemetery
Oak Woods Cemetery was established in 1854; it covers an area of 74 hectares and is located at 1035 E. 67th Street in Chicago. The first burials took place in 1860. Soon after the American Civil War, between four and six thousand Confederate soldiers, prisoners who died at Camp Douglas, were buried here.

95th/Dan Ryan (CTA station)
95th/Dan Ryan (or simply 95th) is a rapid transit station on the Chicago 'L' system situated in the median of the Dan Ryan Expressway in Chicago's Roseland neighborhood. Currently, it serves as the southern terminus of the Chicago Transit Authority's Red Line. This station was the system's fourth busiest in 2009. Trains take 30 minutes to travel to the Loop, and 66 minutes to reach Howard.
Emil and Patricia Jones Convocation Center
Emil and Patricia Jones Convocation Center is a 7,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Chicago, Illinois. Completed in 2007, the arena is home court for the Chicago State University Cougars men's and women's basketball teams. The arena replaced the Dickens Athletic Center, which only had capacity to seat 2,500 persons. The convocation center is unique among Illinois university athletic projects, because Chicago State University did not have to raise any money for the project.

Simeon Vocational High School) is a public four-year vocational high school located in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. It is part of the Chicago Public Schools system. The school is named for African-American educator and administrator Neal Ferdinand Simeon. Simeon opened in 1949.
King Drive (CTA station)
King Drive is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system, located in Chicago, Illinois and serving the Green Line's East 63rd branch. The station is situated at 400 E 63rd Street. The station opened on April 23, 1893. King Drive only allows boarding on the inbound platform (towards Harlem); the outbound platform (towards Cottage Grove) is exit-only.

Dinah Washington Park is a park located at 8215 S. Euclid Avenue in the South Chicago community area of Chicago, Illinois, USA. It was named for singer and Chicago resident Dinah Washington. It is one of four Chicago Park District parks named after persons surnamed Washington. It is one of 40 Chicago Park District parks named after influential African Americans. The Chicago Park District purchased the vacant lot in 1972 with the help of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

It is located at 7351 South Stony Island Avenue in the South Shore neighborhood. Louis Farrakhan's headquarters are located on these premises. Originally the Greek Orthodox church of St. s Constantine and Helena, it was purchased in 1972 by Elijah Muhammad. The mosque was then repurchased by Louis Farrakhan 17 years later, in 1988.
