Dickens Athletic Center
Dickens Athletic Center is a 2,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Chicago, Illinois. It was home to the Chicago State University Cougars basketball teams until late 2006, when it was replaced by the Emil and Patricia Jones Convocation Center. It currently hosts the school's volleyball program.
95th/Dan Ryan (CTA station)
95th/Dan Ryan (or simply 95th) is a rapid transit station on the Chicago 'L' system situated in the median of the Dan Ryan Expressway in Chicago's Roseland neighborhood. Currently, it serves as the southern terminus of the Chicago Transit Authority's Red Line. This station was the system's fourth busiest in 2009. Trains take 30 minutes to travel to the Loop, and 66 minutes to reach Howard.
Emil and Patricia Jones Convocation Center
Emil and Patricia Jones Convocation Center is a 7,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Chicago, Illinois. Completed in 2007, the arena is home court for the Chicago State University Cougars men's and women's basketball teams. The arena replaced the Dickens Athletic Center, which only had capacity to seat 2,500 persons. The convocation center is unique among Illinois university athletic projects, because Chicago State University did not have to raise any money for the project.
87th (CTA station)
87th is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system, serving the Red Line. The station is located in the median of the Dan Ryan Expressway and serves the Chatham neighborhood. There are two entrances to the station, one on the south side of the 87th Street overpass which served as the only entrance from 1969 until 2006 and one on the north side of the overpass which was opened as part of the Dan Ryan Red Line Rehabilitation Project.
Dinah Washington Park
Dinah Washington Park is a park located at 8215 S. Euclid Avenue in the South Chicago community area of Chicago, Illinois, USA. It was named for singer and Chicago resident Dinah Washington. It is one of four Chicago Park District parks named after persons surnamed Washington. It is one of 40 Chicago Park District parks named after influential African Americans. The Chicago Park District purchased the vacant lot in 1972 with the help of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Stony Island Avenue
Stony Island Avenue is a major thoroughfare on South Side of the city of Chicago, designated 1600 East in Chicago's street numbering system. It runs from 56th Street south to the Calumet River. Stony Island Avenue continues sporadically south of the Calumet in the southern suburbs, running alongside the Bishop Ford Freeway, sometimes as a frontage road. It terminates at County Line Road on the border of Will and Kankakee Counties.

Mosque Maryam (Temple #2) is a large mosque in Chicago, Illinois, United States and the headquarters of the Nation of Islam. It is located at 7351 South Stony Island Avenue in the South Shore neighborhood. Louis Farrakhan's headquarters are located on these premises. Originally the Greek Orthodox church of St. s Constantine and Helena, it was purchased in 1972 by Elijah Muhammad. The mosque was then repurchased by Louis Farrakhan 17 years later, in 1988.
