Wrigley Field
Wrigley Field /ˈrɪɡli/ is a baseball venue located in Chicago, Illinois, United States that has served as the home ballpark of the Chicago Cubs since 1916. It was built in 1914 as Weeghman Park for the Chicago Federal League baseball team, the Chicago Whales. It was called Cubs Park between 1920 and 1926 before being renamed for then Cubs team owner and chewing gum magnate, William Wrigley, Jr.. Sheridan is the closest 'L' stop to Graceland Cemetery, which is about one-half mile to the west on Irving Park Road. The Sheridan station is one of only two stations on the 'L' that is built on an S-curve, with Indiana on the Green Line being the other.

The Vic Theatre

The colorfully painted totems include a grimacing sea monster at the bottom, a man riding a whale above it, and Kwanusila the Thunderbird on top.
Aragon Ballroom (Chicago)

People's Music School
Founded in 1976, The People's Music School offers free group classes and private lessons to children and adults, regardless of their financial resources. People's Music School is located in Uptown, Chicago at 931 W. Eastwood Avenue. The School today offers instruction in 13 instruments (including woodwind, piano, percussion, and string instruments), as well as voice and theory classes to more than 350 students each year.

The Buddhist Temple of Chicago (BTC) was founded in October 1944 by Gyomay Kubose, a minister of the Higashi Honganji branch of the Jōdo Shinshū (“Pure Land True Essence”) sect, along with several laypeople who had been released from the Japanese American internment camps. Although the temple is administratively independent, the teaching lineage reflects the progressive Jōdo Shinshū thought of Manshi Kiyozawa and his student, Haya Akegarasu, who was Kubose’s teacher.
