Lowndes County, Georgia
Lowndes County (pronounced Lounds) is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia along the Florida border. It was created December 23, 1825. As of the 2010 Census showed a population of 109,233. The county seat is Valdosta. It is the largest county in the Valdosta, Georgia Metropolitan Statistical Area. The county is a major commercial, educational, and manufacturing center of south Georgia with considerable forest products including pulpwood and naval stores, such as turpentine and rosin.
Remerton, Georgia
Remerton is a city in Lowndes County, Georgia, United States. The population was 1,123 at the 2010 census. It was incorporated as a town in 1951, and chartered as a city under Georgia law in 2000. Remerton is an enclave of Valdosta and is a popular place for Valdosta State University students to live, in part because it does not have a Sunday blue law prohibiting the sale of alcohol.

The Complex (Valdosta, Georgia)
The Complex is a 5,350 seat, 105,600 square feet, multi-purpose arena in Valdosta, Georgia, USA. Construction began in 1979 and was completed in 1982. It is the home of the Valdosta State University Blazers basketball and volleyball teams. The Complex also contains a four lane jogging track and offices for the athletic department, kinesiology, and physical education departments.
Bazemore–Hyder Stadium
Bazemore–Hyder Stadium at Cleveland Field is a stadium in Valdosta, Georgia. It is primarily used for American football, and is the home field of the Valdosta High School. Valdosta State University, winner of the NCAA Division II National Football Championship in 2004, 2007, and 2012, also uses Bazemore–Hyder Stadium as a home field. The stadium holds 11,249 people and was opened in 1922. The original name of the stadium was Cleveland Field.
