Lowndes County, Georgia
Lowndes County (pronounced Lounds) is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia along the Florida border. It was created December 23, 1825. As of the 2010 Census showed a population of 109,233. The county seat is Valdosta. It is the largest county in the Valdosta, Georgia Metropolitan Statistical Area. The county is a major commercial, educational, and manufacturing center of south Georgia with considerable forest products including pulpwood and naval stores, such as turpentine and rosin.

Bazemore–Hyder Stadium at Cleveland Field is a stadium in Valdosta, Georgia. It is primarily used for American football, and is the home field of the Valdosta High School.
