Snellville is a city in Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States, east of Atlanta. The population was 18,242 at the 2010 census. The city's mayor, Kelly Kautz, was elected to a 4-year term in 2011. The city's commercial and residential development has grown enormously in recent years. In the Atlanta metro area, Snellville is known (mostly humorously) for the slogan on its city limit signs: 'Everybody's Somebody In Snellville'.

South Gwinnett High School (SGHS) is a public high school in the United States for students in grades 9–12. The school is located in Snellville, Georgia and is part of the Gwinnett County Public Schools system, one of the 15 largest public school systems in the country. Southeastern Railway Museum
The Southeastern Railway Museum (initialised SRM, AAR code SMRX) is a railroad museum located in Duluth, Georgia in suburban Atlanta. The museum was founded in 1970 by the Atlanta Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. There are over 90 pieces of rolling stock exhibited on the 30-acre site. In 2000, the museum was given the title of being Georgia's official transportation history museum, and the collection of exhibits continues to diversify to reflect this.
