Morehouse College
Morehouse College is a private, all-male, liberal arts, historically black college located in Atlanta, in the U.S. state of Georgia. Along with Hampden–Sydney College and Wabash College, Morehouse is one of three remaining traditional men's liberal arts colleges in the United States. Morehouse has a 61-acre campus and an enrollment of approximately 3,000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 16:1 and 100% of the school's tenure-track faculty hold tertiary degrees.
Spelman College
Spelman College is a four-year liberal arts women's college located in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The college is part of the Atlanta University Center academic consortium in Atlanta. Founded in 1881 as the Atlanta Baptist Female Seminary, Spelman was the fourth historically black female institution of higher education to receive its collegiate charter in 1924. It thus holds the distinction of being one of America's oldest historically black colleges for women.
WCLK
WCLK FM 91.9 is a radio station licensed to Atlanta, Georgia, USA, and serves the core area of metro Atlanta. It is owned and operated as a public radio station by Clark Atlanta University. WCLK is also broadcast in HD radio. It was granted a construction permit in early 2009 to downgrade its effective radiated power (the maximum in any direction) from 6kW to 2.5kW; however, this will change its footprint very little, reducing its range to the north and east by just a few kilometers or miles.

Clark Atlanta University
Clark Atlanta University is a private, historically black university in Atlanta, in the U.S. state of Georgia. It was formed in 1988 with the consolidation of Clark College (founded in 1869) and Atlanta University (founded in 1865). Clark Atlanta University is a member of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF).
Georgia Dome
The Georgia Dome is a domed stadium located in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, between downtown to the east and Vine City to the west. It is primarily the home stadium for the NFL's Atlanta Falcons and the NCAA's Georgia State Panthers football team. It is owned and operated by the State of Georgia as part of the Georgia World Congress Center Authority. The Georgia Dome was the largest domed structure in the world until 1999, when London's Millennium Dome was completed.
Philips Arena
Philips Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Atlanta, Georgia. It was completed and opened in 1999 to replace (and occupying the former site of) The Omni, at a cost of $213.5 million. Philips Arena is home to the Atlanta Hawks, of the National Basketball Association, and the Atlanta Dream, of the Women's National Basketball Association. It also served as home to the National Hockey League's Atlanta Thrashers from 1999-2011, before the team moved to Winnipeg.
Omni Coliseum
The Omni Coliseum, usually called The Omni, from the Latin for "all," or "every", was an indoor arena located in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Completed in 1972, the arena seated 16,378 for basketball and 15,278 for hockey. It was part of the Omni Complex, now known as the CNN Center. Demolished in 1997, the only remaining reminder is the scoreboard from the Omni that now hangs in the pavilion of the Philips Arena.
Atlanta University Center
The Atlanta University Center Consortium (AUC Consortium) is the largest contiguous consortium of African Americans in higher education in the United States. The center consists of four historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in southwest Atlanta, Georgia. The institutions included in this consortium are Clark Atlanta University, Spelman College, Morehouse College and the Morehouse School of Medicine.
CNN Center
The CNN Center is the world headquarters of the Cable News Network. The main newsrooms and studios for several of CNN's news channels are located in the building. The facility's commercial office space is occupied entirely by CNN and its parent company, Turner Broadcasting System, a subsidiary of Time Warner. The CNN Center is located in Downtown Atlanta, Georgia, adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park.
WIFN (AM)
WIFN, "1340 The Fan 3", is an Atlanta AM radio station transmitting on a frequency of 1340 kHz. The station is currently broadcasting a sports radio format, and is a sister station to WCNN "680 The Fan", running programming from Fox Sports Radio. The station is co-owned with AM radio stations WCNN AM 680 and WFOM AM 1230. All three stations are owned by Dickey Broadcasting, with studios in Buckhead.

Herndon Stadium
Alonzo Herndon Stadium, named for Alonzo Herndon, is a 15,011-seat stadium on the campus of Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It is the only two-sided stadium in the Atlanta University Center. It is one block over from the locally known Herndon Home, and sits above the MARTA East-West rail line. During the 1996 Summer Olympics, Herndon Stadium hosted field hockey.
Forbes Arena
The Forbes Arena is a 6,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. It is home to the Morehouse College Maroon Tigers basketball team. It also hosted basketball preliminaries during the 1996 Summer Olympics and was the home arena to the Atlanta Glory. It was opened in 1996 at a cost of $8 million. It sits adjacent to the college's old gym, Archer Hall, which sits 1,000.

Dome / GWCC / Philips Arena / CNN Center is an at-grade rail station on the Blue and Green lines of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) rail system, located on the western edge of Downtown Atlanta. The station was officially opened on December 22, 1979. When the station first opened in 1979, it was called Omni station due to its proximity to the now-demolished Omni Coliseum.
Vine City (MARTA station)
Vine City is an at-grade train station on the Blue and part-time terminus station of Green lines of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) rail system. It is one of only 2 stations served by the Green, and Blue lines at all times. The area it serves, also called Vine City, was mostly industrial in the early 20th century being just south of Atlanta's largest power plant, the Davis Street Plant.

John H. Lewis Gymnasium
The John H. Lewis Gymnasium is a 7,000 seat venue on the campus of Morris Brown College. It is home to the Atlanta Thoroughbreds National Indoor Football League team, and in the fall of 2007 will be home to the Atlanta Krunk Wolverines Continental Basketball Association team.

The Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts at the Georgia Institute of Technology has gradually evolved to contain a wide variety of liberal arts subjects at a school known predominantly for engineering. The College is named after Ivan Allen, Jr. , a Georgia Tech alumnus and former mayor of Atlanta.
Robert W. Woodruff Library, Atlanta University Center
The Robert W. Woodruff Library of the Atlanta University Center is a library in Atlanta which serves the five members of the Atlanta University Center, the world's oldest consortium of historically black colleges and universities. The library, constructed in 1982, is named for Robert Winship Woodruff, former CEO of the Coca Cola Company. The library is a member of ARCHE, SOLINET, OCLC, the HBCU Library Alliance, and is a participant of the Georgia state library network, GALILEO.
Paschal's
Paschal's is an American company based in Atlanta, Georgia. It originated in 1947 with brothers Robert and James Paschal opening Paschal's Restaurant at 837 West Hunter Street. In 1959 it moved across the street to its current location, where many of the leaders of the Civil Rights Movement gathered to discuss their strategy and issues in the 1960s. This included Martin Luther King, Jr.
The Flair
The Flair is a bronze statue in Atlanta, Georgia by artist Richard MacDonald finished in 1996 before the 1996 Summer Olympics. It stands just east of the Georgia Dome in the Georgia World Congress Center complex. The Flair is dedicated to the Olympic athletes and to "all those who exemplify determination and dedication in the pursuit of excellence. " The sculpture was a gift of Mr MacDonald to the state and to the city. Is was dedicated on July 8, 1996.
New Falcons Stadium
The New Falcons Stadium is the working title for a proposed retractable-roof, multi-purpose stadium in Atlanta, Georgia that will serve as the home of the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). The idea of a new stadium for the team to replace the Georgia Dome, the team's home since 1992, was first reported in May 2010. News reports state that the stadium will likely open in time for the 2017 NFL season.
