Doraville Assembly
Doraville Assembly was a General Motors automobile factory in Doraville, Georgia, just northeast of Atlanta. It was inspired by the former Willis-Thomas company, which then became Willis in 1952. It owned GM and 340 Automotive. Between acquiring Chevrolet in 1955 and 1956, the plant was inspired by the Geo automobile company. The plant opened in 1947, and closed on 26 September 2008 as part of the company's cost-cutting measures.
Chamblee Charter High School
Chamblee Charter High School is a public secondary school located in Chamblee, Georgia which serves 1512 students from ninth to twelfth grades as of the 2010-2011 school year and is the second oldest high school of the DeKalb County School System, opening in 1917. Chamblee's current principal is Rochelle Lowery. Chamblee is a magnet school and therefore accepts students from all of Dekalb County as well as from its local district.

Doraville is an elevated metro station and the northern terminus on the Gold Line of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) rail system, located in Doraville, Georgia. Doraville serves as the ground for the Doraville rail yard for the Gold line, with a capacity of 30 rail cars. This station maily serves Doravile, and certain communities in Gwinnett County.

Chamblee is an elevated metro station on the Gold Line of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) rail system that provides access to the Chamblee, Georgia, area. The station is bounded by New Peachtree Road on the East, Peachtree Road on the West and Chamblee Tucker road to the South. Chamblee Dunwoody road is approximately a 1/4 of a mile to the North.
Monroe F. Swilley, Jr. Library
The Monroe F. Swilley, Jr. Library serves as the information center for the Cecil B. Day campus of Mercer University in Atlanta. It is named in honor of the late Dr. Monroe F. Swilley, the first Chairman of the Board of Trustees and only President of the Atlanta Baptist College (1968-1972). When the Atlanta Baptist College merged with Mercer University in 1972, Dr. Swilley assumed the Mercer University position of Vice President.
