Smyrna is a city in Cobb County, Georgia, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 51,271. It is included in the Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta, GA MSA, which is included in the Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Gainesville, GA-AL CSA.
Vinings, Georgia
Vinings is a census-designated place and an unincorporated town in Cobb County, Georgia, just across the Chattahoochee River from Atlanta. As of the 2010 census, the town had a total population of 9,734. It is located between the affluent West Paces Ferry section of Buckhead in northwest Atlanta, and suburban Smyrna in Cobb County, adjacent to the Cumberland edge city. The U.S. Postal Service uses "Atlanta" for all Vinings addresses, and "Vinings" is listed as "not acceptable".

Dobbins Air Reserve Base
Dobbins Air Reserve Base or Dobbins ARB is a United States air reserve base located in Marietta, Georgia a suburb about 20 miles northwest of Atlanta. It was named in honor of Captain Charles M. Dobbins, a World War II C-47 pilot who died near Sicily. It serves as the home station of the 94th Airlift Wing (94 AW) of the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) and its fleet of Hercules C-130 aircraft, and is also the location of the headquarters for AFRC's Twenty-Second Air Force (22 AF).

General Lucius D. Clay National Guard Center
General Lucius D. Clay National Guard Center (formerly Naval Air Station Atlanta) is a military facility located 1-mile south of Marietta, Georgia, United States. It is located immediately south of Dobbins Air Reserve Base and shares its runways. Before 1959, Naval Air Station Atlanta was located at what is now the Peachtree-DeKalb Airport (PDK), located northeast of Atlanta in DeKalb County. It operated until 26 SEP 2009 when the base closed its doors.
WFOM
WFOM (1230 AM, "1230 The Fan 2") is an Atlanta-area radio station broadcasting on a frequency of 1230 kHz. The radio station is licensed to the city of Marietta, Georgia, and currently is a CBS Sports Radio affiliate. WFOM, along with WCNN and WIFN, are owned by Dickey Broadcasting. The broadcast facilities are in Buckhead, even though the signal is weak in that area.
Nancy Creek (Atlanta)

Despite the name, the interchange has only two cloverleaf-style ramps. The Georgia DOT has posted signage on I-75 referring to the interchange as the Kennedy Interchange.

Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre
The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre is a performing arts venue located in the Cumberland/Galleria edge city, just northwest of Atlanta, Georgia. The $145 million facility celebrated its grand opening on September 15, 2007 with a concert by Michael Feinstein and Linda Eder. Located in Cobb County near Vinings, the venue is owned and operated by the Cobb-Marietta Coliseum & Exhibit Hall Authority, and took over two years to build.

Smyrna Public Library
The Smyrna Public Library is the only independent, city-operated library in the state of Georgia. It is located at 100 Village Green Circle in downtown Smyrna, Georgia. It is the only public library in the county which has not joined the Cobb County Public Library System. The Smyrna Women's Club and the Smyrna Men's Club provided the original financing and co-sponsored the first library, which officially opened on September 15, 1936 with little more than 600 books.
Riverbend Apartments
Riverbend Apartments was an infamous 600-unit apartment complex located in suburban Atlanta, Georgia, off I-285. It has been described as Atlanta's most notorious singles complex. The apartment complex was also the plot setting for part of the 2002 film Catch Me If You Can.
Paces (Atlanta)
Paces is a neighborhood of Atlanta. It is part of the Buckhead district and located in the far northwest corner of the city. Paces is bounded on the northwest by the Chattahoochee River, which is also the Cobb/Fulton county line. Just across the river in Cobb is the unincorporated community of Vinings, which was originally known as Paces after founder Hardy Pace, who operated Pace's Ferry. Cumberland is also located on the other side of the river.
Akers Mill
Akers Mill, was a complex of at least two 19th century mills along Rottenwood Creek in Cobb County, Georgia, United States. The gristmill built into the bank overlooking the creek, with six terraces each acting as an individual floor in the mill operation. The mills developed shortly before the Civil War, were sold to the Akers family in 1873 and in turn were utilized for the production of flour and meal for their Atlanta area grocery stores.

Marietta Air Force Station is a closed United States Air Force General Surveillance Radar station. It is located 2.1 miles northeast of Smyrna, Georgia. It was closed in 1968.
