Clarke Central High School (CCHS) is located in Athens, Georgia. The school was created in 1970 by the merger of two high schools, Athens High School and Burney-Harris High School, as a result of desegregation. CCHS is in the Clarke County School District and is one of two traditional high schools in the district; the other is Cedar Shoals High School.
