Lake Jesup

Lake Jesup is one of the largest lakes in Central Florida, one of many that make up the St. Johns River. Located in the heart of Seminole County along the middle basin of the St. Johns, the lake encompasses an area of approximately 16,000 acres (65 km²), including open water and floodplain. The lake boasts one of the longest free-standing bridges, part of the Seminole Expressway, which bisects the lake.

Oviedo Mall

The Oviedo Mall (previously known as the Oviedo Marketplace) is a single-story indoor shopping mall with movie theater located in Oviedo, Florida, a northeastern suburb of Orlando, Florida. The mall is owned by 3D Investments and managed by Urban Retail Properties, LLC. It was previously owned by General Growth Properties based in Chicago, Illinois which also owns the nearby Altamonte Mall. Both malls were cross-managed by the same General Manager.

Seminole Speedway

Seminole Speedway was a dirt oval racetrack, located near Orlando in central Florida, that opened in 1945 and hosted some of the first stock car racing events following the end of World War II. Roy Hall, Red Byron and Fireball Roberts were known for competing at the racetrack. Seminole Speedway closed in the mid-1950s and was eventually redeveloped as a residential subdivision.

Spring Hammock Preserve

Spring Hammock Preserve is a 1,500 acre natural area in Seminole County, Florida. Its mucky areas protect examples of hydric hammock and floodplain forest. Sandy terrain supports upland hardwood and pine flatwood ecosystems. Many animal and plant species in the preserve are either rare or near their range limit.
