Gulfport, Florida
Gulfport is a city in Pinellas County, Florida, bordering St. Petersburg and Boca Ciega Bay. The population of Gulfport was 12,029 at the 2010 census. Gulfport is part of the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area, the 19th largest MSA in the country. The town was originally named Disston City in 1884 when Hamilton Disston purchased land here. The United States Postal Service would not recognize the name as it conflicted with a town in Hillsborough County.

Pinellas Bayway
The Pinellas Bayway System is a series of bridges on two Florida State Roads in Pinellas County, Florida. It is a toll road complex maintained and operated by the Florida Department of Transportation. It also is compatible with the SunPass ETC system currently in use on all other FDOT-owned toll roads. The Pinellas Bayway consists of: State Road 682, an east–west divided highway connecting SR 699 on a Gulf of Mexico barrier island near St. Pete Beach, Florida to Interstate 275 and US 19 in St.

WRXB
WRXB is a commercial American radio station broadcasting an Urban Gospel format. Licensed to St. Pete Beach, Florida with studios in St. Petersburg, it serves the Tampa Bay area. From 1975 to 1996, the station was owned by Gene Danzey, a former General Manager for WTMP in Tampa, who acquired the former WILZ in 1975 and retooled the station as WRXB, which was the region's first black owned station. Danzey would later sell the station in 1996 to Rolyn Communications, Inc.
Royal Theater (St. Petersburg, Florida)
The Royal Theater was a quonset hut style theater for African-American in St. Petersburg, Florida. It is located at 1011 22nd Street South and operated from 1948 to 1966. Designed by architect Philip F. Kennard for the Gulf Coast Entertainment Company, it was one of two movie theaters serving African-Americans during the era of segregation, the other was the Harlem Theater (Tampa, Florida) at 1019 Third Avenue South (demolished).
